My parents getting divorced
When I was four months old, my father left my mother. He later moved to Paris, Tennessee with his then girlfriend, whom he later separated from. He left my mother, my sister (then just four) and myself (just four months old)! My mother tried everything to make their relationship work, but it was extremely toxic and took a tole on her health. -
My mom getting remarried
Just five years after my parent's separation, my mother met and fell in live with my youngest brother's father! They were married for a little over a year when they found out they were expecting! My brother was born on July 11th, 2017 and he has become the biggest pain in my side! -
My father starting another family
When I was eleven years old, my mom came across a post on Facebook of my father and his new wife (plus children!). My heart shattered, not because I was sad, but because I knew he would do the same thing he did to my mother. Years past and my thought became a reality, my father left his third wife and their children with nothing! -
My Great Grandmother passing away
On October 22, 2016 my life was torn apart. I had lost the most influentical person in my life, my Great Grandmother. When she was in the hospital, she stayed in the CICU and was placed in a medically coma, because she hadn't slept in days and her body was slowly deteriorating. The day she past away, she only weighed 98 pounds! -
My Great Grandfather passing away
My Great Grandfather was one of the most important people in my life! He was more of a father figure than anything! Though, he was not biologically related to me, he loved me as his own and I will forever be grateful for that. He taught me self love and hard work are the only ways that you are going to get through life. I'll always remember, "life is hard my dear, but you are stronger than you think, keep pushing!"
