    General William Henery Harrison defeated the Indians. This event is important because this victory mean't they were one step closer to defeating British forces. This event also led to Harrison becoming the 9th President of the United States.

This event is important because General Andrew Jackson and American artillery and sharpshooting riflemen won the war before word of the siging of the Treaty of Ghent reached North American.
