  • My Birthdate

I was born on 8/6/99 at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ.
  • Getting my first tooth

  • I learned to walk

I learned to walk independently on an airplane ride to Hawaii. I spent the majority of the trip walking up and down the aisles of the train and saying hello to all of the passengers.
  • Becoming a big sister

I became a big sister at 11:56 pm. I always like to joke that my sister was cursed, because she was born on Friday the 13th, but also because she was so close to being born the next day and therefore not cursed.
  • My first haircut

    My first haircut
I had my first haircut at Ralph's Barber Shop in Staten Island, NY-and I continued going there for haircuts until 5th grade. After my haircut, I went to my Grandmother's house for dinner, which was also a family tradition until a few years ago.

  • Becoming an even bigger sister

    Becoming an even bigger sister
My brother was born on a Saturday afternoon, and I remember going to the hospital to meet him and recieving a sticker book from my mom. I used to love my brother so much when he was a baby-and I still do, of course.

    First trip to Disney World

I took my first trip to Disney World when I was 5. I thought it was so much fun to see Chip and Dale in the dining rooms and Goofy walking around the park. Even though I had fun going on Safaris and a couple of roller coasters, I was too scared for most of the rides.
  • Moving to a new house

    Moving to a new house
I moved houses right at the end of Kindergarten. I remember going back and forth between my old and new houses for several weeks, taking measurements and dropping off my bulkiest toys. I changed synagogues and soccer teams after I moved, but not schools.
  • Grammar school graduation

When I graduated from Grammar school, we had a big "play" that involved about 30 songs and a lot of obviously scripted dialogue. I have to say the best parts about it were having my artwork on the cover of the program, having a huge party that night and leaving school 3 days earlier than the younger grades.

    My First trip to Israel

I went to Israel for the first time with a synagogue trip-but not with my own synagogue. While there, I climbed Masada, read torah at the Kotel, and ate lots of ice cream and falafel with french fries.
