Launching of our new Eleanor Roosevelt Site APP. This will provide us new ways to communicate and deliver information to students, staff, and the community. In addition it will also us to digitize some of our day to day procedures and resources for students.

We are in the infancy stages this year of developing our BYOD program at EHRS. We will need to asses our infrastructure needs and help build capacity with our early adopter teachers to help with the implementation of BYOD. We have a group of 24 teachers who will be working to help pilot some of our BYOD programs.

We will be testing new wifi for early adopter before hopefully looking to full upgrade our site.

We are implementing a 30 Day/30 Tweet challenge to staff help increase their personal learning network using Twitter. Staff are encourage to sign up or utilize their already existing Twitter account to connect with each other using the hashtag #ERHSBatGB (ERHS best at getting better) Then use the hashtag #EHRS to promote positive events, learning and interactions with students to help "tell our story" of Eleanor Roosevelt High School

During the course of second semester we will be looking to integrate our digital citizenship lessons into our classrooms to help promote online learning and safety.

5 specific early adopter teachers have been selected to pilot new VDI devices (a remote desktop). They will be testing the capability of these new laptops as possible check out devices for students and their capabilities in a classroom setting.

We will be hosting a PD day to focus on our new Learning Management System, Canvas. Our goal is to prepare our staff for spring roll out of the new LMS for our early adopter teaches ahead of the site roll out the following year.

Starting in the second semester we will begin to pilot our new site LMS in preparation for next years site roll out.

Working with DO to help implement needed full site Wifi upgrades.

We will be looking at the first true year of implementation for BYOD on our campus. Using the prior pre-planning year to help build on we will be utilizing our Freshman class as our first group to utilize BYOD.

We will continue our rise through our course and expand our BYOD model into our Sophomore class and our Freshman matriculate up. This year we will be at the SAMR model of integration of differentiated learning.

We will be opening our new STEM Academy on campus that will be going full BYOD its first year. The site was designed for students to fully utilize their technology, there are no lockers built into this building. We will additionally be expanding our BYOD program to the Juniors and looking for our pedagogy to reach individualized learning.

As a site will become fully BYOD integrated. Looking at possibly hold registration fully online, all staff trained in BYOD, SAMR models.
