Sammy's personal game timeline

  • Birth

    Born April 6th 2001
  • TMNT GameBoy Micro

    TMNT GameBoy Micro
TMNT on the GameBoy Micro was my first ever experience with videogames, thus extremely important. I learnt how to play 2D platformers and started to develop critical thinking and puzzle solving skills and became a gamer.
  • Grand Theft Auto San Andreas PS2

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas PS2
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was released 2004 on the PlayStation 2. I think I got my PS2 with this game two year after after seeing my cousin play Grand Theft Auto 3 on the PS2. This memory marked the start of my gaming experience for the years to come. It was also my first experience with a strong story experience and an interactive 3D sand box which rewarded my young and curios mind for hours and hours with stimulating adventures.
  • Mario Kart DS

    Mario Kart DS
In the same year I got a white Nintendo DS Lite. I remember playing Mario Kart DS co-op with my cousins especially on the balloon shooter mini game. Along with this I would hide my DS under my pillow from my parents at night all the time.
  • Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Call of Duty Black Ops 2
After my Playstation 3 for Christmas I played thousands of games but the one that stands out is Call of Duty Black Ops 2. I spent hundreds of hours online with friends as it was one of my longest multiplayer experiences. Other Call of Dutys I loved but Black Ops 2 is more special to me, the memories are more significant, grinding for prestige and gold weapons and playing Zombies with friends doing all the puzzles and easter eggs.
  • Team Fortress 2

    Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 was my first steam game, I played on PC with Minecraft back in 2011 however I had hundreds of hours on TF2 and was my first experience with a team based first person shooter. I learnt strategy, teamwork and communication and had so much fun drifting from character to character and using them in different situations. I also had fun with the third party steam community servers and maps.
  • Return to Fallout New Vegas

    Return to Fallout New Vegas
I loved Skyrim and the Fallout series especially as a kid on PS3, but then had a deeper experience, with Fallout New Vegas especially, on PC, and I am still playing to this day. Fallout New Vegas especially is one of the few most important games to me. The roleplay element but more importantly the story has taught me a lot about life and morality. The various questions and factions within the games settings are deep and most memorable to me.
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

    Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
After getting my PS4 back in 2014 grinding GTA 5, I also got into Rainbow Six Siege later on. I became more competitive and had so much fun with friends in party chat being on the edge of our seats with the team based 5v5 elimination. The suspense and the gratification reward factor really made most games memorable.
