To access many previous videos, images, theories, and conventions, the primary tool I used was the internet. (Particularly good old Google)
-
-
We created a twitter and instagram account to keep our teachers updated with our progress and also gather a fanbase
-
We used HD JVC Video cameras to shoot the video - it included useful features such as manual/auto focusing and zoom.
-
Of course our footage wouldn't have been saved and transferred to the Mac's without memory cards! We tried to keep them all on one card
-
We stored all of the basetracks and organized them into folders on here. Then continued to save any process we made in the editing later on...
-
The sotware we used to edit and produce our final music video was Final Cut Pro which enabled us to import clips, edit them, and add effects.
-
We exported our final cut music video as a quicktime movie and it was distributed on Vimeo for other viewers/students to see.

as the world is now so technological, I was able to view the conventions of CD covers online instead of travelling all the way to the shop. I noticed continous conventions such as the artist's name being the largest piece of text.
-
We used this HD digital camera to shoot in both internal and external locations. Adjusting the manual focus to blur out the background and focus on the artist. We applied the flash for the pictures taken indoors to enhance quality and ensure that it was a clear image of the artist to allow a clear and recognisable brand image
-
Downloading the 2 panel template, I imported my chosen images into photoshop and began to add text (album title and artist name) and alter the image enhancing the brightness levels/colour highlights etc.

We're now back to focusing on blogging again! (Evaluation)
