January is also know for it's weather. The season is winter, which normally brings cold weather and snow!

The third Monday of every January we take a day to celebrate, in honor of all that Martin Luther King Jr. did for segregation.
The first day of Winter!
Today is the first day of winter! The weather is going to start getting colder and there is now more of a chance for snow!
Febuary is the second month of the year!
Valentine's Day is a holiday to celebrate love. We celebrate it every Febuary 14th.
President's Day is a day in which we commemorate all of our past Presidents. It started off as a holiday to celebrate our first President George Washington. Febuary 18th was his birthday.
March is the third month of the year.
St. Patrick's Day!

Today is the first day of Spring! The weather starts to get a little warmer and all of the beautiful flowers start to bloom!
Easter is a day that Christians celebrate God's resurrection. On this day the Easter Bunny brings you a basket of candy and you get to go outside and hunt for colorful eggs.
April is the fourth month of the year!
May is the fifth month of the year and normally the last month of school!
Mother's Day is a day set aside to think about Mom's and Grand Mother's. People use this day to thank the ladies in their lives for all they have done for them.
June is the sixth month of the year!
Father's day is a day in June that we celebrate and thank all of the men in our lives for all they have done!

Today is the first day of summer! With summer comes hot weather, swimming and playing outside!

The Fourth of July is a national holiday celebrating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
August is the 8th month of the year. It is also normally when school starts back up again!
September is the 9th month of the year!
We celebrate Labor Day on the first Monday of September every year. It is a day that we celebrate all of the workers in America!
Like Mother's day and Father's day, this is a day that we Celebrate all of our grandparents in our lives!

Today is the first day of Fall, soon the weather will start to cool off and the leaves will start chaning colors!
October is the 10th month of the year
Halloween in a popular and fun holiday in October where you get to dress up and go out and collect candy!
November is the eleventh month of the year!
Veteran's Day is a day that we all stop and celebrate and thank all of the men and women who have served in the armed forces!
Thanksgiving is a fun holiday where we get to eat lots of turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie! But most importantly Thanksgiving is a day that we celebrate what we are thankful for.
December is the 12th and final month of the year!
Christmas is a holiday celebrated all over the world! Christmas is a holiday that was created to celebrated Jesus's birth. It is also known for the presents we get and time that we get to spend with our families!
