I was not supposed to be a girl but a boy. My parents had wanted a boy because they had already had a girl.

When I was the age of two I had a seizure and my lips turned blue and I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

I went to preschool at the age of four and supposedly I would always cry so I wouldn't have to go.

When I was the age of six my parents and my older sister traveled to Hong Kong to visit my cousins. We stayed on their thirteenth floor large apartment and it was amazing! We went to places that included amusement parks, sightseeing, and going to see the 112 feet Buddha which we had to climb 268 steps to reach. This was also my first time on an airplane!

Since we had three girls in the house(including my mom) we finally decided that we all wanted a baby boy in the family. When he was born I was so excited to see him and my relationship with him stays strong and better than ever. This change in my very strict household softened my parents and even me. This was one of the best days of my life and I will always be thankful for the uplifting that I very much needed.

In the fourth grade I finally ¨woke up¨ or understood that I needed to get exceptional grades and to be the best student that I could be.

All five of us traveled to Toronto and visited my cousins. The city was absolutely beautiful and there was greenery everywhere. We went to go see Niagara Falls which was breathtaking but also very cold.

The fifth and sixth grade were the most incredible school years because I was successful in grades and making new friends. This also included making long-lasting relationships between my peers.

Me and my whole grade went to Morro Bay or Camp Keep. We stayed for five days and it was the best week in my whole life! Some fun activities that we did were hiking on the sand dunes, dug in mudflats, and sung campfire songs.

I finally made varsity in my sophomore year! I was actually very surprised because I was expecting to stay in JV another year.
