Personal Timeline

  • Conception

    I was conceived around this time, a planned birth. My mother's egg is fertilized by my father's sperm.
  • Attached to the Uterus

    I implant onto the wall of my mother's uterus.
  • Heart Beats

    My heart begins beating for the first time.
  • First Month of Pregnancy

    I'm an embryo about 1/10 of an inch long.
  • Second Month of Pregnancy

    I'm an embryo about one inch long with fingers and veins. My heart has divided into right and left chanbers.
  • Third Month of Pregnancy

    I am now a fetus about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long and fully formed. All of my organs and muscles have formed and begun to function. I've also started swallowing and kicking.
  • Fourth Month of Pregnancy

    I'm covered in a thick layer of downy hair called lanugo and my heartbeat can be heard very clearly now. I'm also moving around a bit, but I still can't be felt yet. It is at this time that my sex can be discovered.
  • Fifth Month of Pregnancy

    A protective coating called vernix caseosa begins to form on my skin and I will be nearly 8 inches long and weigh almost a pound. Now my mom can start to feel me kicking.
  • Sixth Month of Pregnancy

    My eyebrows and eyelids are visible and while my lungs are filled with amniotic fluid, I have started breathing motions. I'm now also able to hear the outside of the uterus.
  • Seventh Month of Pregnancy

    I am now about 12 inches long and weigh about 3 1/2 pounds. My body is now well-formed and I've got fingernails!
  • Eighth Month of Pregnancy

    By now, I'm gaining about half a pound per week and layers of fat are piling on. I've also likely turned head-down in preparation for my birth and should weigh about 4 to 6 pounds.
  • Ninth Month of Pregnancy

    I now weigh a hefty 6 to 9 pounds and measure about 19 to 22 inches. I'm getting so big and crowded in the uterus that I'm moving around much less than before. On the plus side, my lungs are maturing! and my due date is Nov 19!!
  • Birth

    I was born at 11:52 PM, on a Friday. I weighed 8 lbs and 2 oz, at 19" long. I was born one week, seven days exactly, before my due date. I was born with the female sex and a heart murmur that was yet to be found.
  • First Day Home

    The first night home was difficult because of nursing issues.
  • Second Night Home

    I nursed better the second night.
  • Third Night Home

    On the third night, I began to poop.
  • Fourth Night Home

    By the fourth night, I slept all night long.
  • Umbilical Cord Fell Off

  • Heart Murmur Discovered

    I had an echocardiogram and discovered a 2 to 3 mm hole in my heart, in the lower ventricle. The doctor said that in 90% of cases, the heart murmur will close up on its own.
  • Angel Kiss began to Appear

    A temporary birthmark on my left cheek, the doctor said it should grow until my first birthday and then should begin to disappear.
  • First Road Trip

    Went to visit Aunt Heidi with my mom, dad, and older brother.
  • First Roll

    Three months old, I could roll over from my side to my belly.
  • Thumb Sucker

    I started sucking my thumb.
  • First Night in the Crib

    Slept in my crib for the first time.
  • Ears Pierced

    I got my ears pierced. My mom says she regrets it.
  • Maternal Grandparents Visit

    Grammy and Grandpa from my mom's side came to visit from Texas.
  • Started on Solid Foods

    I started eating rice cereal.
  • Rolled Over

    I rolled over completely.
  • First mumbles

    I was constantly saying "dada."
  • Started Teething

    I began teething.
  • First Tooth

    My first tooth began coming in.
  • Second Tooth

    My second tooth began coming in.

    My third tooth began coming in.

    My fourth tooth began coming in.
  • I Waved

    I started waving.

    I clapped my hands for the first time.
  • Fifth Tooth

    My fifth tooth began coming in.

  • Nanna Died

    My father's mother, Margie, passed away. My dad inherited half of a shrimp boat and 70,000 dollars of debt, he was never sad about any of it, though.
  • Ninth Tooth

  • Stuck my Hand in the Crapper

    I stuck my hand in the toilet and swished it around, I had a good time.
  • Tenth Tooth

    My tenth tooth began coming in.
  • Eleventh and Twelfth Tooth

    My eleventh and twelfth teeth began coming in.

  • I Moved to Germany

    I turned two the day after arriving in Germany for my father's work in the military with my entire immediate family.
  • I Started German Pre-School

    I started German preschool where I learned how to garden, make meals, food prep, clean, use utensils, spoke only German, and crafted.
  • Moved to Maryland

    My family moved to Glenburnie, Maryland.
  • The Divorce was finalized

    My parents' divorce was finalized, my father deployed for a year without warning, but after his voluntary deployment, my brother and I stayed in his big, empty house.
  • Mom got a Job

    Mom got a job in Loudoun County and my brother and I went back to live with her.
  • Two People Died

    I lost my brother Oliver and Grandma Clark. I didn't cry, even with the loss.
  • Menarche

    Sometime in the early morning, I was on the toilet as my mother was drying and straightening her hair when I got my first period. It would be heavy flow and irregular, my mother's was lighter, but also irregular.
  • I won a Karate Award

    I won a karate award for being the best yeller or something. It felt nice to accomplish something.
  • Adopted Emma

    After moving to Arlington, VA, we adopted Emma, a little rescue mutt. MY ADORABLE BABY!!!~~~
  • I Won a Golden Key Scholastic Award

    I won a Golden Key scholastic award for my artworks in a competition. It made me proud, but I felt empty.
  • Went to Visit a Friend

    I was traveling by car with my brother and father and we decided to stop by Nashville, Tennessee to visit an old friend after I begged for a while.
  • My Grandfather Dies

    My mother's father, David, passes away. My mother takes me and my brother down to Texas to say our goodbyes while he was still in the hospital, but we did not attend the funeral.
  • Scholarship

    I won a $500 scholarship from my time in HERican. I was happy to receive something for my future, it reminded me I wasn't stuck in place.
  • I did a 5K

    I ran a 5K with my mom, friend, and friend's dad. I felt accomplished and proud to beat my friend's dad in a race. I was a little bit competative.
  • Went to Boston

    I took a trip to Boston with my mom and I think my brother. Don't remember very well.
  • First Job

    I worked part-time at a smoothie shop called Robeks in Shirlington, VA, for the time.
  • Started Paddle boarding

    I started paddle boarding with my mom for the first time. I was scared at first but soon got used to it. I was so tense while doing it that my leg cramped halfway through and was very sore for a while after.
  • Road Trip

    I did a road trip with just my mother to Philly then Rhode Island.
  • I entered Collage

    I started my first year at the NOVA, majoring in Graphic Design. It takes a lot of effort, but I make it through!!
  • I buy my first place

    I purchase a condo in Chicago, Illanois with the assistance of my mother(she's a real estate worker) and feel a sense of freedom and independence, but also fear of being alone and without any safety net.
  • Change of Collage

    I transferred to SAIC from NOVA after two years.
  • Studied Abroad

    I studied abroad in Mexico City for one semester at SAIC.
  • I Graduate Collage

    I graduated from SAIC with a bachelor's degree in Art History and Graphic Design.
  • First Full-Time Job

    I get my first full-time job as an entry-level Junior Graphic Designer at LMO Advertising.
  • Bought my First Home

    I took my savings after my graduation of 50,000 and put it down for my first condo, a one-bedroom studio for 210,000 in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Emma Dies

    My baby died from old age... I fall into severe depression. My life loses meaning. I am empty and alone.
  • I Adopt Again

    I decided to adopt two kittens and raise them. I feel a lot better, but guilty for giving love to creatures other than my late dog.
  • I get Promoted

    I am promoted in my work.
  • Death

    I die from an asthma attack at the age of 44 years, six months, and 27 days. I struggle for a few minutes alone in my condo, then I pass away.
