Isaac is my cousin who has cerebral palsy. The doctors told my family that he would never make it to his First birthday, but he is 24 years old, as of last September. He is my inspiration and best friend.

I was two days old at the wedding, and my mom was a bridesmaid, so I was "in" the wedding.

My first word was "no." We were moving from Plymouth, MI to South Lyon, and the hit song was on the radio. I began singing along from the backseat, and my mom had to pull over because she was laughing too hard.

My grandpa was the patriarch of my family, and when he passed away, my family slowly deteriorated. I consider it to be the worst day of high school. He was a tinsmith, as well as a teacher, up until he passed away.

My parents and I were going to Iowa for Thanksgiving to see my family, and we stopped at the American Pickers store. Mark Wolfe happened to be there, so we got a "selfie" with him, per my mother's request.

Bid Day was a day I never thought I would ever take part in, but I got 52 new sisters and best friends. I couldn't imagine life without them.
