I was born in Evanston, Illinois at Saint. Francis Hospital.
-
My family and I spent the Summer of 2006 visiting family members in Albania and Greece. This trip was the only time I have ever went outside of the US.
-
My little sister Emily was born on January 15th. As the middle child, she has always been very sociable compared to the rest of my sisters. Some of my favorite memoires are with her, as her social energy makes her quite the comedian of the family.
-
My family moved out of our apartment and into our first home in Portage Park. We have lived in our house since 2007.

My first day of PreK at Smyser Elementary school is my earliest memory. I remember feeling shy and extremely nervous as I was hiding behind my mom's legs until she had to leave the classroom. Throughout preschool I always played by myself or with those I was close to, and today I still exhibit those traits as an introvert.
-
My second youngest sister Elane was born on June 24th. She has the only summer birthday, so every year we rent a bouncy house and throw her birthday party in the backyard.
-
My youngest sister Belinda's birth was the most memorable out of the rest of my sisters. That day, when my dad picked me up from school, he told me that my little sister looked exactly like me. I was so excited to meet my mini me as my grandma and my sisters and I made posters waiting for her to come home.

I was the only person to qualify to the City Championships on my middle school's Track team. I competed in the 5th/6th grade 400 meter dash and I was extremely nervous days leading up to the race. Although I didn't place in the top 10, I was proud that I had qualified.
-
I was transferring from my elementary school to William Howard Taft to attend the Academic Center. Although it was bittersweet to say goodbye to my close friends and my favorite teachers, I was even more excited to attend Taft.
-
Along with another boy on my team, I qualified for the CPS City Championships. I qualified to run in the 200 meter dash, which was an event I was doing very well in that year. I ended up placing in the top 5 and received a medal. I was so proud of my race, and proud of how much I had improved.
-
I won the MVP award for the Smyser Track team. I remember the excitement and accomplishment I felt when my coach gave me my award.
-
I attended my first day at the Taft AC on September 6th of 2016. I remember feeling extremely nervous as I felt so small compared to the rest of the high schoolers when I entered my building. One of my closest friends Allyson transferred from Smyser to the AC with me, and having her by my side made the experience easier. Within the first week of school, I met a group of friends that I consider my closest friends today.
-
My family drove down to Clearwater Beach, Florida for spring break. The trip was amazing; the weather was perfect, we visited many beautiful beaches, did many fun activities, and ate great food!
-
My 8th grade graduation was a very bittersweet day. The Academic Center hold a special place in my heart. I met my closest friends in 7th and 8th grade, and my made some of my favorite memories. Even though I had my close group of friends, the entire grade felt like a big family, which made it hard so say goodbye. Many tears were shed that day :(

Besides having fish, my dog snow was my first real pet. My sisters and I got her as an early Christmas gift, and she is most definitely my favorite gift. I love taking her on walks, and she definitely brightens everyday.
-
I participated in a one week After School Matter's commission where I helped make a mural painting for Garrett's popcorn with a group of teen painters. The mural ended up being installed in their Water Tower Place Location which was super cool!
-
I met my best friend Anna at Track practice freshman year. We instantly became close friends, and spent almost every day of freshman year together. Anna was an exchange student, so she had to go back home to Germany at the end of the school year. Saying goodbye to her was very difficult to do.
-
The summer of 2019 is by far my favorite summer. I worked for a Drawing and Painting Program with After School Matters that was located downtown. I met some great friends and had so much fun spending almost every day downtown. Also, the paintings I had created in the program were chosen to be showcased at the ASM Annual Gala. This was a super exciting moment and I was very proud of the work that I had created!
-
My older sister and I waited in line hours before the Brockhampton concert trying to get front row. We ended up getting front row, which was super exciting because Brockhampton is our favorite band. Their music means a lot to me and I hold many of their songs close to heart.

March of 2020 was a very difficult month for everyone. My track season and in-person school came to an end within the same week. What was most difficult was that my Spring Break plans were cancelled. My best friend Anna Germany was supposed to visit for Spring break, and I was looking forward to getting to spend time with her.
