I surrendered my life to Christ in this month at 7 years old. This has affected my life every since in the way that I live, percieve life, and treat others.
-
My Grandmother, Peggy Bible, passed away after battling for 2 years COPD and Pulminary Fybrosis when I was 13. This is one of the hardest days I have ever experienced. My grandmother meant so much to me, I was closer to her than my own mother in some ways. I miss her every day.
-
My father got a job where he can commute back and forth, so we decided to move back home to Morristown having previously lived in Lebanon, TN for 6 years. This was the summer before my 8th grade year. It was a tough transition for me and my family--especially for my brother and I during middle school after having lost my grandmother.
-
I rededicated my life to Christ on this Sunday. I had been living in complete rebellion of Him and felt compelled to recommit my life for Him and no longer for myself. My life has completely changed since, and I have grown in Christ since this day.

This class was when I realized that I wanted to be a special education teacher. I then changed my major from Psychology to Special Education when I came to C-N.

I graduated from Morristown-Hamblen West High School. This accomplishment allowed for me to come to Carson-Newman to get an education in teacher education.
-
I nannied two boys with Autism. One little boy had limited life skills and is nonverbal. I gained a lot of experience with these precious little boys. This confirmed my career choice.
-
This was my first day at Carson-Newman College.
-
I started working for the Extended School Program in Hamblen County. This is an after school program--kind of like a daycare. I have been the Site Director for the Manley Primary location managing paperwork and the site and its employees.

Hopefully I will be graduating from CNU this day next semester! This is a huge step in my professional career.
