    Bessemer process developed
    It was the first mechanism to mass produce steel. This allowed companies to produce more steel and go even further into the Industrial Revolution. It was developed in Europe and helped launch the production of metals like steel.

    He was a Haitian that led the Haitian Revolution. He helped free all of the slaves on Haiti and overthrow the government. Then he became a political leader in Haiti after he overthrew the French.

  • Reign of King Louis XVI

    Reign of King Louis XVI
    He was the king during the French Revolution. He tried to reform France by making it more related with the Enlightenment ideas and the people did not like this but he still tried to reform it. This led to the uprising and the French Revolution.
  • James Watt perfects steam engine

    James Watt perfects steam engine
    He invented the steam engine and this was the spark of the Industrial Revolution. This allowed for the production of coal mines and people needed iron for coal, and so on. This meant that there was a major line of things supplying other people.

    It was the British colonies in America rebelling against the British motherland. This was due to the British trying to tax the colonies a lot and this caused them to fight them. The British colonies won and they declared their own independence.

    He was the leader of the French Army that he led into conquering a large amount of territory. This helped show how strong the French were and that they were one of the major powers in Europe. He conquered much of Western Europe during his reign.

    He was a political and military leader. He helped free and gain independence in Latin America from the Spanish Empire. He freed over 5 countries from the Spanish rule and after that, he was a political leader in the republic formed in Latin America.

    The French Revolution was a conflict between social classes, and this caused a change in government. It also caused a massacre of a lot of people because of the people who believed in the old goovernment. It also started the reign of Napoleon.

    It was one of the only successful slave rebellions. The slaves overthrew the rulers and leaders. They also decded that everyone should be free.

    This was a movement during the time that other countries were having revolts against their governments. The people were revolting against the Spanish rule since they wanted to become an independent country as well. Many of the places were successful and this helped put an end to the Spanish Empire.

    It was written by KarlMarx and Federick Engels. This was against capitalism and said that it would lead to dedstruction. This began European states to begin to lean more towards the Communist side.
  • Unification of Italy

    The unification of Italy was trying to unify everyone who spoke Italian in that region to become one and work together. This movement was caused by other countries becoming more unfied and becoming a major European Power. This caused Italy to want to become an European Power, so this is what also caused them to be unified.

    This rebellion occured during the Qing Dynasty in China. Millions of civilians died in this rebellion. The leader of the rebellion believed that he was the son of God and he was sent to reform China. This helped caused the collapse of the Qing Dynasty.

    A battle between Russia and France, Britain, and the Ottoman Empire. Russia lost and this conflict was over the rights in the Holy Land held by the Ottoman Empire. This also made Russia lose territory and also led to the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

    It was rebellion by the people living in India against the British Empire. This was because the people did not approve of the culture the British were introducing like education and religion. This rebellion led to a major disruption in the British rule in India.

    It was a book written by Charles Darwin. The book was written about the evolution of mankind. This caused a whole new bunch of ideas to flow and question the Churches if their ideas are true.

    It was known as the peasant reform and it took place in Russia. It helped abolish peasantry in Russia. This freed the peasants and this caused many of them to migrate to Siberia.

    This restored Japan's imperial rule. It caused a change in Japan's social classes and helped bring Japan into a time of peace and prosperity. It also helped Japan become a modernized nation.

    It was built by America and the Suez Canal was built to help cut the amount of time for ships to sail from Europe to Asia or California. This caused more companies to be able to ship to the Western Civilizaitions because it doesn't cost as much money than before.

    They uified Germany into a poltiical state and unified it. They unified a large region of Europe by incorporating anyone who spoke German into the country. This gave rise to the German Empire and caused another powerful empire to appear in Europe.

    They were fought between the British Empire and the settler of Boer. The first one was to keep the South African Republic free from the British and the second one the British finally succeeded but costed a large number of soldiers. This helped show how strong Africa was and that the Europeans tried to conquer all of Africa.

    This conference was when the Europeans empires or powers came together to decide how they were going to conquer Africa. This led to them deciding that they had to pass a law that regulated colonisation and trade with African states. This led to the African states to become dependent on European states.

    It was a new and very famous political party in India. It was involved in the Indian Independence Movement. This party gained a large amount of members because it was a democratic party.
  • Boxer Rebellion

    It occured during the end of the Qing Dynasty. This was an anti-Christian and anti-foreign movement. This was caused by a severe drought and they thought that it was because of the foreigners.
  • Russo-Japanese war

    It was war fought between the Russian Empire and the Japanese Empire. It was fought over the land of Korea and Manchuria. Russia wanted it because this allowed them to have a major port for the Pacific Ocean for their navy, and the war ended with a Japanese Victory. This began Japan's thirst for land and this also showed that a small empire could defeat a larger empire with more land than the other.

    It was formed during the British Indian Empire. It was a political party. It was finally established and the people held a rally in Dhaka, and this was for the Muslim people.

    The assembly line was invented in America along with the automobile made by Henry Ford. The assembly line was created to speed up production and mass produce items. The automobile was a new thing and everyone saw Henry Ford as a very honorable man. They used the assembly line to mass produce cars.

    The creation of the Panama Canal was only allowed because of the major technological advances. The building of the canal killed a lot of people because they got infected by malaria and yellow fever and died. The French attempted to complete it but failed, and the Americans finally completed in 1914.
