A family friend owned a few rental houses, and hired me and my brothers to mow them every two weeks. -

First Car
1997 Honda CR-V bought from older brother for $800 -
Second Car
The CR-V didn't last too long, a couple months and the transmission gave out (not while I was driving, fortunately), so I found a 2001 Saturn SL1 for $400 on Craigslist. Sold by a graduating Tech student, he just wanted to get out of here. Minor repairs were necessary, completed by a friend in the AutoTech class. -
Third Car
The SL1 lasted the winter, but was only front-wheel drive (made winter interesting, if not entirely safe...), and the driver-side mirror decided to fall off -- not while I was driving, thankfully. I went to the junkyard with the intention of purchasing a "new" mirror, and saw a nice-looking 2006 Subaru Legacy for sale. Upon inquiring, I was told it had been bought in auction after the front axle fell off. They fixed it up, and put it up for sale. I paid the agreed $2500 in cash. -
Attend College
I hope to attend MIT for a Mechanical Engineering degree, or MTU if MIT doesn't work out. -
Get Hired
Work for a company, creating prosthetic limbs -
Start a Prosthetics Company
Once I learn enough from the previous job, I'll branch out to create my own designs, and ideally be able to provide inexpensive (but still profitable) deals. -
Be Able to Retire
By this point, I want to have enough money that I could comfortably retire, though I don't plan on actually retiring. (What would I do all day???)
