Started school at Ivy Tech Muncie to begin my journey to becoming an ultrasound tech. I will be required to pass multiple pre-requisite courses (with A's) to have a shot at making it into the program. I will work hard to push myself in my classes and use my resources! -
This is the required exam I will have to take to be considered for Ivy Tech's Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. -
I will be able to apply for the program in Spring 2023. This is a competitive program and I will have to work very hard to reach the goal of getting accepted. -
Hopefully get accepted into the program! -
This will be full time meaning I will have to overcome many challenges to commit to being a full time student such as rearranging my employment, my finances, and schedule. But, it will be well worth it! -
I will have to work VERY hard in my classes to learn the necessary skills to be an ultrasound tech such as working the equipment, patient care, and the science behind it. -
I will reach my goal of graduation probably in Spring of 2025. The specific information and timeline is not available to me right now as I am not in the program. But, I do know the program is 14 months. -
After graduation, I will find a job as an UltraSound Tech. I will begin making around $60k annually depending on where I work
