    Our parents believed that playing is good for kids but incorporating learning with playing is better, thus, they provided us Shape-O Toy and toys of the same kind. Introduced us to the basic shapes while having fun at the same time which is a very effective way of learning that we still prefer 'til this day.

    ABC Charts and Flash Cards
    The ABC Chart and Flash Cards are an illustrative/creative way of introducing the alphabets, animals, and things to the young kids. Since our parents immersed us with this kind of learning, we actually became more of a visual learner, that it's very convenient when our teachers have visual aids while teaching.

    Since tv is common to every household, when we were younger, we were already into watching series and movies most especially animated ones. It became part of our childhood where we learned how to sing as we sing along with the characters, learned to dance, learned to think as we answer Dora's questions. It was interactive learning that soon evolved with our interests. Now, we watch news & documentaries to be updated 7 get pieces of information that are useful and watch series for entertainment.

    Entering school also introduced us to books where there are thousands of information. It also includes illustrations and sometimes stories for our own entertainment. Books are big part of our learning since we came from public schools and we are thankful not just for the academic learnings from the books but also for the moral lessons presented to us by story books that we are fond of before.

    It was also in school that we were introduced to personal computers. It was both for entertainment and educational purposes. Personal computers were first used for educational games like encarta then later on evolved that helps us comply for school requirements. Personal computer definetely made our student lives much easier because its so easy to search for information now.

    Phones were given as rewards for graduating in primary education. Phones then were used as a medium of communication in a form of "group messages", as well as for taking low-quality pictures. Looking back, phones helped in developing our social skills and passing on information the easiest and fastest possible way when face-to-face conversation is impossible.

    Peer pressure. That is the very first reason why we open a facebook account because most of our friends have one. Facebook allows us to reach our virtual friends, post pictures, videos and updates about our life and basically about everything. Also gives us access to games. Now, in this digital age, having one is really useful when you're a student or an employee. Keeps us updated of what's happening with our friends, locality even international events.

    Following Facebook, we also discovered through our friends other social media platforms that allows us to tell a story through posting pictures, tweeting what is happening and what we feel, as well as watch videos for both entertainment and educational purposes. These applications allow us to connect with our friends in a less virtually crowded platform which we both think is great and also good source of information.

    Spotify is a music streaming application that allows you to listen to music from various artist with and without an internet connection. This helps set the mood of someone as there are different playlists and you can create one for yourself and communicate message and stories through songs. May you be alone at home or with friends in a party, spotify will serve you well.

    Merriam-Webster in an online dictionary, basically it presents the origin, pronunciation, meaning, synonyms, and antonyms of the word. This is very helpful especially for students like us who do not have a wide vocabulary and it saves us from the hassle of bringing a thick dictionary.

    E-commerce Applications such as Shopee, Lazada and Beauty Manila are mobile apps that allow shoppers to shop online without the need to go to physical stores. It displays different brands and specifications. And one of its pros is that its very convenient and there are things that are not available in our locality but is available online. Although there are cons, it's actually really promising and worth the try.
