We got my cat, Marshmallow!
We got my cat from my Great Aunt's farm, where he and his two siblings were trying to stay alive under a bush. Their mother was nowhere to be found. We were going to keep all three cats, but the two my siblings chose to call their own, ran away. I picked Marshmallow, and he knows this, so I'm his favorite! -
We got my dog, Cooper!
We also got my dog from my Great Aunt's farm, when all of a sudden they had a whole litter of puppies they didn't purposely breed. My dad didn't want us to get a dog, but my mom told us she could convince him as long as she got to name the dog. Thus came Cooper Kelso Studdard! -
Joplin, Missouri Tornado
On this day an EF5 tornado hit Joplin, Missouri devestating the lives of many. -
I got baptized!
I got baptized when I was eight, at Spring Valley Baptist Church. -
Boston Marathon Bombing
At the finish line of the Boston Marathon, two bombs were detonated killing three people and leaving, at the least, 264 with injuries. -
We went to Hawaii!
My family and I went to Hawaii for one of my older sister's gymnastics meets, but then turned the trip into a vacation and saw lots of sights. -
Misty Copeland is the First African-American Principal Dancer for the ABT
Misty Copeland started dancing at age 13, and worked her way up in the dance world, finally reaching her goal of becoming the first African-American Principal Dancer with the American Ballet Theatre! -
I got my pointe shoes!
I got taken out of school to get my pointe shoes at age ten. I was so very excited! -
Prince Passes Away
Prince sadly passed away, leaving all of those he moved with his passionate performances devestated. -
First Broadway show!
My mom and I took a trip to New York where I got to see "Matilda!" my first Broadway show! -
I was named student of the month!
I got the honor of being the student of the month for January throughout the whole Blue Springs School District. -
