My father had an iPhone 3G and it used to have a protective coating. My earliest memory of a smartphone is when I would just turn on the screen and stare at the background. I remember peeling the yellowing, transparent coating off the back of the phone and getting scolded for it.

2018: This was the year when AR and VR started to get more mainstreamed and I first saw the ads promoting the headsets. I was interested in the technology behind it and wanted to get one of my own. I remember first trying them at a trampoline park that offered VR services.

Late 2018: I got my first Nintendo Switch. We had about two week to go before we traveled to Saudi Arabia to visit my mother's family and we had begged our parents to get us a Switch. The first two games we got were The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Smash Bros.
