To do

My Typical Day

  • Wake Up

    Wake Up
This is the hardest part of my day, I wake up at 5:20 every morning (besides Wednesday and the weekend) and it's always so difficult to get out of bed and start getting ready for school. I'm expected to wake up right away and eat something for breakfast to start my day.
  • Getting ready for school

    Getting ready for school
I have a lot to do in the morning, It usually takes me over an hour and I always seem to be rushing. But once I'm finished, I have to walk to the bus stop and get to school. I'm expected to do my hair, put my makeup on, and get everything ready for school by 6:50.
  • Getting to school

    Getting to school
The first thing I do when I get to school is go upstairs to my locker, I always have things to put away and I get my folders for my first few classes. I'm expected to get all of the work/folders I need for the first half of the day.
  • Periods 1-4

    Periods 1-4
I don't have a first period, so I just aide with my friend Johnny for the Social Worker's office. Second period I go to Algebra II which is one of my favorite classes. Third period is my study hall, I usually go to the library and do my math homework. Fourth period is when I go to U.S. History and learn about our wonderful country. I'm expected to do all of my work, answer questions, and stay quiet when needed.
  • Periods 6-10

    Periods 6-10
Sixth period is when I head back to U.S. History, having the lunch break in between makes it fly by! That class is always super loud. Next is when I go to Chemistry for two periods, I like that class, it's fun. Ninth period is when I have English and tenth period is when I have P.E. I'm expected to work as hard as I can in every class, I'm also expected to show up on time and be prepared for anything.
  • 2:30 - School's over

    2:30 - School's over
When that bell rings at 2:30 for school to be over, I couldn't be happier. I do enjoy school, but it's just so stressful sometimes and I like to just get home and relax. I'm expected to go to my locker, get my jacket and homework, and get to the bus by 2:35.
  • Getting ready for bed

    Getting ready for bed
I always shower at different times. Usually before dinner though, then I have to dry my hair, and eat dinner. I usually go up to my room right away but I get distracted on the computer before I actually go to bed. I'm expected to be in bed before 10 so I can get a good nights rest.
  • Lunch!

    Lunch!
5th period is when I finally get to lunch. I enjoy this lunch period because it's very quiet usually, and it's always fun to be around the friends I have classes with. We get to talk about the class, homework, and what we like/dislike about it. And eating lunch is just a bonus. In the cafeteria, there are all sorts of rules. We have to wait in line to pay for our food, sit down and eat, we can't be too loud, and we can now use our phones.
  • Getting home

    Getting home
I usually get home a little before 3 o'clock. I'm home alone at first, it's really nice to have a quiet house. I usually get a snack and watch some television. I'm expected to let my dogs outside and get all of my homework done before I do anything fun.
  • Bed time

    Bed time
I usually fall asleep around 10 o'clock. I set my alarm before I fall asleep for 5:20 ---- 6:30 on Inservice days. I watch tv before I fall asleep, and then I usually sleep throughout the entire night without waking up. I'm expected to sleep throughout the whole night and to wake up bright and early the next morning.
  • Paragraph Rationale

I created the project this way because the expectations were a timeline with 10 moments or places from my typical day. I chose 10 different times/moments and placed images where appropriate. This project depicts the designated micro-social setting because it's close by (school) and it's social because there are so many people surrounding me at school and so many different people to talk to.
