My education path
-
January 3rd 1995 when I came into this beautiful world! I may have been born in the middle of winter, but I am truly a summer baby. I love the sun, sand and everything summer!! I have lived in Red Deer my entire life!
-
I went to Kindergarten in Red Deer Alberta. My first year of Kindergarten was at a public school known as Annie L Gaetz.
-
After my first year of school in the public system, my parents transferred to the catholic system where I stayed for the rest of my schooling. I went to Mary view from Kindergarten to grade 5
-
After Maryview i then transfered to St. Thomas middle school for grade 6-9.
-
After finnishing middle school, and then onto high school. I went to the only catholic high school in Red Deer at the time, Notre Dame.
-
YAY!! Graduation from high school still remains one of my favorite memories of my entire schooling. I graduated with honors from Notre Dame in 2013!
-
Once graduation was over, I went straight into College to purse my Education Degree.
-
I took time between my four year schooling degree, and traveled to Thailand solo. During this time I got to spend some of it at a local school volunteering to teach English.
-
After my first two years at the Red Deer College, I got accepted into the Middle Years Program. I was so happy to be able to stay in my home town, and live at home during my entire schooling!
-
My first practicum during my Middle Years Education at the Red Deer College was in grade 8, at my old middle school; St. Thomas.
-
My second practicum was in grade 3, at St. Elizabeth Seton Elementary School. During this practicum in my 4th year of college, I took part in the extended practicum program where I got to experience the entire school year in my Grade 3 class!
-
This event has yet to happen but I am so excited to say goodbye to college and get started on my life and all the adventures teaching has in store for me!
