Attended school at Ecole St. Louis de Montfort from k-5 in the French Immersion program. Although I could only speak mostly French upon starting school. French is my first language. This photo is my first day of school.

Our school moved to Camille J. Lerouge when I was in grade 6. I attended this school from grade 6-9. My grade 9 Outdoor Ed. trip was one of the most memorable things I remember from Junior High. We hiked and camped at the top of Allstone Mountain in the Nordegg area. I am the first person on the far right in the photo.

I attended Ecole Notre Dame High School from grade 10-12.

Graduated with my High school Diploma, Bilingual Diploma and my Tech Prep Diploma. Tech Prep was a work experience course I completed during high school.

Attended Red Deer College to take the Teacher Assistant Program.

Completed and graduated from the Teacher Assistant program with honors.

Attained my first employment as an Educational Assistant at the Francophone school in Red Deer. I helped students with behavioural, physical and cognitive disabilites; as well as being a general classroom EA. It is through this experience that I discovered my passion for teaching children in the french language.

I worked for at Ecole La Prairie for 6 years as an EA. This picture is the last year I worked at the school.

Began my studies at RDC for the Bachelor of Education Program. I completed my first 2 years of the Bachelor of Education Program at RDC with honors.

I was accepted into the Middle Years Collaborative Program from U of A. I get to complete my studies at RDC but also graduating with my Bachelor of Education degree through the University of Alberta.

I completed my first 5-week practicum at Ecole Camille J. Lerouge School. I taught Etudes Sociales (Social Studies) and Francais (French Language Arts) in grade 9 for the French Immersion program.

I am going to be teaching a grade 4/5 split French Immersion class at Ecole Mountview School for 9 weeks starting February 2016. I applied to do Extended Practicum; where I need to volunteer 5 full days prior to my actual practicum. I have been volunteering my time regularly since September 2015 so that I can build my relationships with my students prior to teaching them. I am very excited to teach my future students!
