My mom sent me to the Philippines to live with my grandparents. The reason she did this was because she was too busy working and finding people to take care of me was hard. Day cares were also expensive and she couldn't afford it. She believed that family was a better choice to take care of me at such a young age,while she was busy working here in the U.S. I lived in the Philippines for about two years. -

Moved to the New House in Canton & Changed Schools
My family moved from living in a Westland appartment to a house in Canton. This also means I was the new kid in school. I went to Fiegel Elementary School in Canton. -

Once I changed school (Fiegel Elementary School), I started to become more social and out going. -
Noticing the Opposite Sex
Started to notice boys and understand what a boyfriend and girlfriend was when I started my new school at Fiegel. So young! -

Started Wearing Glasses
My second grade teacher realized I had a hard time reading the white board, so she sent home a note with me to go see an eye doctor. The eye doctor highly recommended me to wear glasses, since I was near-sighted and said my vision would get worse. -

Started my first year of college at Schoolcraft Community College! I was really nervous, since it was my first day of being a college student. -
Psychosocial: Friend Passing Away
My friend, Arshdeep Chema, died in a horrible car accident on this day. He was hit by an on-coming semitruck. He was killed instantly. I have known him since we were in elementary school. This was one of the hardest moments of my life, since it is the first friend of mine that passed away. -
