Once I started elementary school we got to start going to the computer lab. -
My mind was blown at Christmas in 2007 when my family got a Nintendo Wii. I was so excited and amazed at how awesome it was. -
My parents bought me a flip phone for when I started riding the school bus and would be alone after school. -
In middle school my parents bought me my first iPhone. -
For Christmas I got my first laptop. -
In High School most teachers received a cart of Chrome books for their classrooms. It was always very exciting to see the carts out to get to do our schoolwork on the laptops. -
In August of 2018 when I was beginning my first semester at Marshall I bought myself a MacBook to help me with my assignments. -
Due to COVID-19 all classes were switched from in person to completely online. -
In August I began my first year teaching. Once I began my new position in Cabell County Schools, I was given a MacBook and iPad from the county. I use both of them daily while teaching. -
Instead of teaching from the board in the front, I now get to walk around and monitor students while teaching from my iPad with my Apple Pencil.
