In kindergarten my teacher gave me a medal for having perfect attendence. I felt so cool when she gave it to me becuase it was the first time i actually got a medal in school. I still have this medal today becuase its the only thing i have from that school.

When i went to El Salvador i hated it. Everyday i would wake up to new mosquito bites and to people yelling. I wasnt used to the way they lived there so that made me not like it even more. I also hated it because my moms side of the family gossip too much and its annoying

In the 6th grade my teacher asked us if we wanted to help 1st graders with anything. I volunteered because i loved helping people and i wanted to get out of class. I remembered helping this one kid read and it was cute because of his sweet voice.

I remember for my promotion we had to sing lean on me to the audience. It was so awkward and i would see everybody looking at each other laughing and hoping that the song would end. Now that i look back at it my goal in life was to be in a rock band and now i dont want to be in a band.

In my english class my teacher always made us do speeches. At first i was really scared becuase i wasnt used to presenting in front of the class but after every speech i got used to it. Doing speeches every so often made me not care of presenting in front of the class.

I went on a field trip for avid to UC Davis. It was fun because we did this fake trial where we had to prove the girl guilty. We also got a tour around the school and had a really good lunch.

Freshman year i had 4 block algebra and got A's each term. I was proud of myself because i used to be really bad at math in middle school but i improved. This event is important becuase i was one of the top students in that class.

I was nervouse on the day of promotion because there was so many people there. I also found it awkward because i had to shake so many peoples hands and i was scared that i was going to trip and fall. But at the end of promotion it was better becuase school ended.

When i first joined avid i thought it was really hard. I wasnt used to avid at frist because of all the note taking and all the socratic seminar. now that i look back avid has helped me get organized and prepared for college

Sophomore year i got renaissance. I was proud of myself becuase it was hard keeping my grades up. Every time i got renaissance i felt smart because they would give you cool prizes like ice cream or candy.

I tutored 4th graders my sophomore year. Tutoring was really fun because i had to help students with easy work and i felt smart. I will always remember this becuase on the last day the teacher told me that their reading skills were improving because of my help.

I got tickets to her concert as a christmas gift and i went with my sister. This was my first concert i went to and i had a lot of fun. It was loud and crazy but i was happy to her preform.

I left to Hawaii on my birthday and ended up staying there for an entire month with my sister and brother in law. I had so much fun over there becuase i went to all the beaches and all the malls. I would go back anytime

Going to Pearl Harbor was really interesting. I got to see videos and actual things that were used during that time. I also went on the u.s.s Arizona memorial where you can still actually see the boat under water.

This was the first time i actually went to an A's game with my brothers. I was so happy this day because they were giving out donaldson's shirt and we sat behind the dug out. This event is important to me because i got to see my favorite team up close and to spend some time with my brothers.
