I went to an out of state college expo at the Freedom Financial Center to visit the representatives from the University of Rochester. -
Volunteer work/internship
Every Wednesday I tutor middle schoolers on the French Horn, I plan on getting a scholorship on the French Horn, which would help me get into a performing arts college. -
Classes to take in high school/college
The classes that I plan on taking in my high school career are: band, economics, film, theater, and environment sciences. -
Conservatory
I will be attending Conservatory, which is an arts school that specializes in theater, vocal, dance, music theory, and instrumentals. I will be taking private classes in French horn, Monologue, and Vocal. I will attend this school three days a week from 5-8:30. This school also helps me pick a college. I will attend this school until I turn 18. -
Scholarship applications
I will use the site scholarships.com to find what I am eligible for. Also, Palmer High School and Conservatory will help me find scholarships. -
SAT/ACT/PSAT
I took the PLAN test on Nov. 6 and the PSAT on Oct. 17. I plan on taking thre SAT and ACT near the end of my Junior year. -
College applications
I will be registering for collage with my 11th grade class near the end of the school year. I will get my college applications online. -
Sending resumes
I will be turning in my resumes near the end of my Jr. year. I will send my resumes and applications to the following colleges; University of Rochester, Berkeley College of Music, Chicago College of Performing Arts, and University of Michigan. -
Travel Plans
I plan on leaving to Rochester New York the summer after I graduate highschool. I will take a plan and live in a college dorm. A one way ticket to Rocherst New York will cost about $530. -
Classes I will take in college
Business, Economics, Environmental Engineering ,Film, Stage Crew, and major in Theater.
