I was born in Michoacán, Mexico.
-
4 brothers, my mom, dad, and me.
-
my mom. I miss her so much.
-
I started school in my hometown in Mexico at the age of 5
-
Graduated from my elementary school
-
Started my first year in middle school
-
My family and I moved to California to start a new life.
-
My family decided we move to Oklahoma because they would be able to find a job there
-
I was put back a year because I didn't speak English therefore instead of going into 7th Grade, I was put back in 6th grade.
-
Although I was almost done with my 7th grade year in Mexico before moving to the United States, I had to start middle school again in Oklahoma.
-
My family decided that it was best we moved back to California. My dad had worked there for most of his life, he felt the need to go back. I was a freshman in high school at this time.
-
I started school in California, I continued as a freshman in high school, and I had to adapt to a new school again.
-
My family decided to move again only an hour away from where we had moved originally, but because the city was bigger and there were more opportunities for my brothers and I.
-
I started my Junior year of high school in the city we had just moved in, Coachella, CA.
-
I finally graduated from high school, thankfully we did stay in the same city until I graduated high school from Coachella Valley High School, class of 2014.
-
I started my first year of College at New Mexico Highlands University. After deciding this was the right choice for me, I moved to Las Vegas, New Mexico hoping for a good future.
-
I met my boyfriend during my freshman year and we've been together for almost three years now!
-
After 3 years in college, I still continue my education at New Mexico Highlands University. At this point, I would only need two more semesters to get my first Bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. Hopefully I can graduate in May 2018.
-
I expect my graduation from New Mexico Highlands University to be in The Spring Semester in May 2018. I cannot wait to finally have this achievement after working so hard in my education throughout my life, counting the numerous times I had to move and change schools.
