Day 1 !

On this day, I walked into my Kindergarden class, and my education journey began. I attended Ben D. Quinn elementary school.

My baby brother Andrew was born!

In the first grade, I began competing in the Free Will Baptist Bible Competition. The first few years, I sang and participated in Bible memorization. Later in my life, I also did Bible sworddrill, tic-tac-toe, ensemble, piano solo and duet and drama.

In the firth grade, I began taking piano lessons. My life was forever changed and drastically influenced by music.

On the way home from a UNC basketball game, family members and I were in a car accident. I was the only one with injuries. I had four, quater sized holes in my intestines and 2 tears as well. Also, I broke a bone in my back. The recovery was long and required weeks in the hospital and months out of school.

This year, I began taking voice lessons from Melody Long. I have been taking lessons from her ever since.

I began dating my best friend. Can't imagine my life without him!

My baby brother Kenley was born! Love him to pieces!

This day, my boyfriend left for Marine basic training. He stayed at Parris Island, SC, for three solid months. The only communication we had was weekly letters. I must stay, those were some of the hardest days of my life; I learned a lot about life, grew up and stronger, determined my priorities and learned how to carry on. Plus my writing skills flourished, because I wrote multiple letters to Ethan every day.

I moved to Charlotte, NC, and began attending college.

Ethan graduated from Marine basic training. No more letters! I missed him terribly, but I am so proud of him!

I decided to transfer to Pitt Community college in pursuit of a degree in medical sonography. So I packed up my stuff and moved back home to New Bern, NC.

I began my journey at Pitt Community College!

For the first time, my dad and I began forming a true relationship! I'm so happy to have him and other family members in my life!
