On Wednesday, July 1st, 1998, Claudia Elizabeth Scalzo, also known as Amy, was born in Austin, TX. That's me!
-
I attended Habibi's Hutch preschool in Austin, TX from 2001-2003.
-
My father, Tony Scalzo, was nominated for two Grammy awards in 1999 in the categories for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Best Long Form Music Video with his group Fastball. Although they did not win, my father's music has played a major part in my life. (They were also nominated for a VMA in 1998.) (My father is the one in the center)

My little brother Gabriel Scalzo was born! Despite being 3 1/2 years younger than me, we are best friends :)
-
So far I have attended Casis Elementary, O. Henry Middle School, Austin High School, and Garza High School!
-
Although it involved no fighting or struggle, the divorce was still something very hard to handle at age 6 (though they separated in 2004 when I was 5).
-
My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 11 years old. Although it was easily treated, it was still a very scary and stressful time.
-
To celebrate my mother being free of Cancer, we took a family trip to Disney World! This is what also made me become the Disney fan I am today.
-
My baby brother Henry Scalzo was born. He is technically my half brother, as is parents are my father and my stepmom. I only get to see him once a week at my dad's house :(
-
Musicals are my passion! In 8th grade, I was a dance in our school production of Guys and Dolls. Hopefully I will be in many more musicals in the future!!
-
After meeting online and messaging each other daily for three months (a short time, I know, but we had a real friendship connection) I finally got to meet my best friend Ana in California. Together we spent an amazing day at Disneyland!
-
I now start the new school year at Garza. Hopefully I do very well and will graduate soon!
