My Life

  • Birth

    Birth
I was born at 1:09 p.m. at Paradise Valley Hospital, weighing a good 8 pounds, 7 ounces. One thing I always remember my mother telling me about this day is that it was an incredibly easy birth for her. She was already in labor when she and my father got to the hospital, and she didn't even break a sweat.
  • My First Pet

    My First Pet
When I was four years old, my mother brought home a tiny Cornish Rex kitten for me to call my own. This day is one of the most important even to this day. My cat, Flower, is so precious to me. The love I have for this animal is not explainable, and I know that she has the same love for me.
  • Started Kindergarten

    Started Kindergarten
I was one of the few children to actually start Kindergarten early, at the age of four. I was completely ready, already reading and eager to learn, and my mother could see that in me. So, she enrolled me in a charter school called Tutor Time. This was good for me, but it has affected me even to this day, as I am always one of the youngest students in my class.
  • Move to Utah

    Move to Utah
When I was 9 years old, my parents decided a move was in order, so that my mom could be closer to her brother and his family. This move proved to be no good for me academically, but I did meet a few close friends and discover some independence while roaming the neighborhood with them.
  • Move Back to Arizona

    Move Back to Arizona
After my father moved back here for work, we eventually followed. My parents’ marriage was not doing so well at the time, but my mother wanted me to have my father in my life. Moving back to Arizona has been good for me in all areas. Academics, friendships, and my future.
  • Parents' Divorce

    Parents' Divorce
I was not shocked when my parents decided to separate, nor was I upset by this fact. They are both the closest of friends and love each other just the same. It was better for everyone in the long run, because we are all much happier with the life we live now. I live with my mother and grandmother, my father lives a block away, and I spend quality time with him often.
  • Met Best Friend

    Met Best Friend
In August of 2012, I started 8th grade at the age of 13. I attended Sahuaro Ranch Elementary that year, and that is where I met my current best friend, Alahna Weaver. Throughout the years, we drifted in and out of friendship, as teenagers tend to do, but in the long run we have stayed strong. I could not be happier about that fact.
  • Started High School

    Started High School
In August of 2013, I began my freshman year at Ironwood High School, and this was a huge milestone for me. It was an entirely new experience. It was exciting, it was scary, but overall I gained a lot from it. I made some of my closest friends there, which I believe will be lifelong, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to say that.
  • Discovered My Passion

    Discovered My Passion
In September of 2013, I found that I have a passion for martial arts. A newly found friend of mine by the name of Mathias Powell sends me a message on Facebook, recommending that I join the YCOA (Young Champions of America) and do martial arts, where he is an assistant instructor. Upon joining, I discover I absolutely love it, I make new friends, as well as befriending my sensei, Sean Milligan. I truly believe that I will stick with this for years to come.
  • Car Accident

    Car Accident
This was by far the most unfortunate and life changing experience I’ve had thus far. My close friend Grant Schahrer and I were on our way to see my Sensei, Sean, and his band play at a bar called Stingers at about 8:30 p.m. We were driving down Olive Ave., Grant makes a faulty left turn onto 43rd Ave., and we get hit from my side of the car. As a result, I suffer a concussion and partial loss of sight in my left eye, due to a faulty airbag. We currently have a lawsuit held against Toyota for the
