My Life

  • Birth

Born in Winston-Salem, NC at 5:30PM in Forsyth County Hospital to a crowd of family members.
  • TV Addiction to Spongebob

On the first day I came home from the hospital, I sat with my Dad in front of the TV watching spongebob, and I've been hooked to that show ever since.
  • THE MOVE

I moved from Winston-Salem in an Apartment, all the way down the Statesville, NC, to a house on a 1 acre plot of land.
  • Sister!

My sister was born at Iredell Memorial Hospital WAY past my bedtime, on up into the 11:00 hour.
  • Starting School >:(

I started school very early, but had no preschool experience, only basic homeschooling from my parents for my entire life.
  • Soccer Championship!

I won my first ever sporting championship in 1st grade during our conference championship tournament.
  • Mrs. Dixon (who I would not like until I looked back)

I finally entered the 2nd grade to one of the most knowledgeable and influential teachers which I would ever have. We were completely fluent in 12x12 multiplication by the end of the year, due to our weekly multiplication speed tests.
  • The Death of my Grandpa

My grandpa (paw-paw) was, and probably is the most influential person of my life. He was with me every day that my parents were at work, and most days that they were home, I would prefer to go to paw-paw's house. His love of animals, plants, and nature have been passed down (I think genetically) to me and my Dad says that he sees my paw-paw in me more and more each day. I still remember the day of getting the news, and actually sleeping less than 3 hours for the entire week.
  • Basketball!

I started (officially) playing basketball in the third grade under the coaching of my Dad, which had previously coached for 6 years.
  • WE NEARLY WON!

I had a nail-biter championship in the 3rd grade basketball championship, in which Central (my school) lost to East Elementary by 2 points in overtime.
  • FOOTBALL (and one of my best friends)

The first year I played football was in 4th grade. I played almost every position except for WR, CB, S, and QB. I mostly played tight end, and fullback, both of which I continue to play recreationally. I also met one of my best friends throughout elementary school (Luke) who I have recently lost contact with.
  • Again? (My 4th grade teacher)

My 4th grade teacher, who I still love and miss having every day, just so happened to have moved back into town! She was previously my Kindergarten teacher, and had moved and had maternity leave, and had moved back! So luckily, I got a blessing of a Kindergarten and a 4th grade teacher.
  • Leaving all of my friends to pursue a future, in the 6th grade...

I decided to leave my many, many friendships behind in the pursuit of happiness and education (but at the time it was mostly so I could go to college and make MONEY!)
  • Making new friends

I had a struggle trying to completely start over on the social hierarchy, and only knowing 1 person, who I didn't frequently talk to, before entering a 5 year prison.
  • My beloved sports had finally ended...

I finally completed my sporting event partaking in the 6th grade, when we won 2nd place in both Football and Basketball, just as previously for my entire sporting career at Central Elementary School.
  • Band? I'm skilled?

In the conclusion of my 6th grade year, I had proven that I could play the Trumpet proficiently, and that I was sociable enough to befriend most of the band, so I got a promotion to first chair, the first day of 7th grade!
  • NEW FRIEND (DANIEL)

DANIEL TRANSFERRED TO NORTHVIEW DURING 7TH GRADE AND WE HAVE BEEN BEST FRIENDS EVER SINCE (even though we've lost touch recently)
  • Another new friend?

Maria had moved into town during 7th grade, and I had her in my Spanish class, where I could already tell she was a troublemaker from day one.
  • Another decision to make...

I had one more big decision to make before colleges... that was what high school I wanted to go to. Although all of my friends split up and went to completely different high schools, I think I made the right choice.
  • Best friend?

So like I met Kristin on the first day of school, and we got paired up to do a group project in Ms. King's class, and we have been friends ever since.
  • Personal Project Presentation

I remember nervously walking up to the room, to be stared down with no comments throughout the entirety of the presentation.
  • Welp, I failed
