Getting Jesse (My Mom's Border Collie)
My mom went to a breeder of championship level border collies and bought Jesse. She brought her home and I remember everyone was gathered in my brothers room where we decided her name was going to be "Jesse" -
Dad took me fishing for the first time
Up until this month, I was terrified of going on the boat with my dad because I felt like a shark was going to eat me, but once I came over that fear, I learned to enjoy being on the boat with him over time. -
Met the Homie G's
Down the road from my Put Lake house, I met Mike, Brandon, and Danny. We were all best friends until I moved. Everyday, Connor and I would walk down Allen Drive, then homer Drive to meet everyone and do what we did everyday. -
Caught my first largemouth bass
I always fished for little pan fish, but when I caught my first bass my dad told me I was now a bass fisherman, and hooked me up with all new gear. Right after I caught my first bass, it turned into an obsession/hobby. -
Started playing percussion in band
I signed up for band, and because my brother Brandon played percussion, I got the part. I remember when I was deciding what instrument I wanted to play, I remembered that Brandon was a percussionist, which motivated me to become a percussionist. -
My cousin taught me how to skate
in Fishkill where my dad lived at one point, my cousin and his friends would always be skateboarding outside, and one day I decided I wanted to learn how to. So, the next day, I went to Walmart and got a loaded with my dad. We got back to the house and Troy (my cousin) started teaching me the basics. -
Moved to Brewster Hill
Moved from Put Lake to Brewster Hill because my stepdad owned the house on Brewster Hill and he and my mom decided it was more affordable to live in that house. At first I dreaded it because it took me away from Homer Drive, but I made a lot of new friends when I moved. -
Caught my first snake
I was ripsticking to Cassidy's house where I saw this "belt" on the side of the road, but when I stopped, I realized it was a garter snake. My brother had also ridden by it and thought the same thing, but didn't take the time to stop. Guess it paid off for me. -
New Paltz Pt. 1
For Father's Day, we visited Brandon at New Paltz and went hiking in the Mohonk Mountains. We hit some really cool trails where I caught 3 garter snakes and a black rat snake, which I had never previously caught before this day. New Paltz Pt. 2
Sebastian and I drove up to New Paltz and stayed at brothers/brothers band's house. After meeting all of his band mates, we went to a place called "Split Rock" to do some swimming. The next day we did this awesome hike in the Catskills at Kaaterskill falls.
