    I was Born.
    I was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to my father Molla, and my mother Mintwab.

  • My Father Moved Away.

    My Father Moved Away.
    My Father moved away when I was at age six. He moved to the United States in hopes of one day moving the rest of the family. Tensions in politics were rising so he didn't feel it was safe to stay in the country so he moved by himself to set everything up before we all moved.

  • My Little Brother Was Born.

    My Little Brother Was Born.
    As soon as my father moved away, my little brother was born. He was named Lidetu Ayalew. Lidetu did not meet our father in person until he was one year old.

  • Grew Up in Sebeta, Ethiopia.

    Grew Up in Sebeta, Ethiopia.
    I grew up in Sebeta, Ethiopia until I was 11 years old. I lived with both my parents and two siblings and my grand father.

  • I Moved to the U.S.A

    I Moved to the U.S.A
    My father came back to Ethiopia and brought the rest of the family wo the United States. My family was very scared and excited when we moved all at the same time.

  • Went to Monte Vista Elementary School

    I enrolled at Monte Vista elementary school as soon as the summer ended when I moved. I went to school not knowing English and often got made fun of for it.

  • Went to La Colina Jr High School, Got into Outburst.

    Went to La Colina Jr High School, Got into Outburst.
    After my one year at Monte Vista Elementary School, I Enrolled at La Colina Jr High School. I got into Outburst and met my first true friends. I finally started to fit in and became a part of something in the United States.

  • Enrolled at San Marcos High School

    Enrolled at San Marcos High School
    After my career at La Colima Jr High, I became a part of the Madrigal Singers Group at San Marcos High School. I went in as a freshman which in by itself is a rare thing. While at san Marcos I also joined the Entrepreneurship Academy and Kids Helping Kids.

  • Bought a Company

    Bought a Company
    While at San Marcs, I bought a screen printing company with my best friend. The two of us became company owners and now have a decent job without a boss.

  • Enrolled at Middle Collge

    Enrolled at Middle Collge
    While at San Marcos High School, I dealt with immature bullies. It felt like I was older than everyone else so I decided to go to Middle College where I am exposed to bigger opportunities.
