Birth
I was born on June 26, 1997. I was 19 inches long and 6 pounds and 2 ounces. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my birth. -
Graduating Pre-k
In June of 2002 I graduated pre-school from Neuville. I made long-lasting friendships and had some of the best times. I graduated along with Alex-Michael :) -
Aunt Cathy
My aunt Cathy passed away on valentine's day in 2004 due to breast cancer. This was a big event in my life because my aunt Cathy was my bestfriend. She was a huge part of my life and her death affected everything. -
AAU Nationals Minnesota
The summer before my 8th grade year, my travel team, Newton Flames Elite, went to Rochester, Minnesota for AAU Nationals. We stayed for a week and got to visit the Mayo Clinic and the Mall of America. We also got to meet great basketball legends such as PJ Brown who played for the Boston Celtics. We ended up finishing 13th in the nation for division 1. -
Western Regional Champions
This weekend my travel team played for the yboa states in Wilkes County, NC. It was a memorable time because I had a career-high of 34 points and our team won the championship and became the NC YBOA 2011 Western Regional Champions and ranked 1st in our state. -
8th Grade Graduation
On June 10, 2011 I graduated from middle school. This was a big event in my life because then came high school; my last 4 years. It's always a drastic change moving from middle to high school. -
AAU Nationals Florida
The summer before my freshman year, my travel team went to AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida. We stayed at a huge resort right down the road from disney. While we were there, we visited different Disney parks and Seaworld! We also got to play all of our games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. It was such a great experience! -
Homecoming
My freshman year I was chosen to be on the homecoming court as a freshman attendent. My bestfriend Landon was my escort. :) It was a fun experience! -
Welcome Home Kyle!
My cousin Kyle is a Marine and in December 2011, his unit was hit by a land bomb. He had shrapnel all in his body and one piece punctured his lung. He was sent straight to a hospital in germany where he had to get 206 stiches in his leg from damage. This was Kyle's 2nd purple heart. It was a scary situation for my family, but we are so proud of him as well! -
Elite 8!
My freshman year, I made varsity basketball which has been a goal for me since elementary school. I've always wanted to say I played varsity as a freshman and with hard work, I can now say that. But not only did I make varsity as a freshman, but the team made it to the final 8 in the state playoffs. That is the farthest the girls have ever been in the history of East Burke. It was such a big accomplishment!!
