  • 1st word-"dada" and "pop"

  • Pulls self up to stand and creeps

  • Off and walking!!

  • Climbs stairs

  • Descends stairs

  • Gallops

  • Potty Trained!!

  • Begins going to Kindercare

  • Engages in group activities at Kindercare

  • Dresses and feeds self

  • Could count to 20 amd say abc's

  • Favorite games: playing in the sandbox and riding my hot cycle

  • Wants to do everything for self and pouts when doesn't get her way

  • Spell and write name, count to 30, identify all numbers and letters

  • Favorite game was playing Daisy Duke and swimming

  • Made a Christmas card for my mom, dictated what I wanted to say to the Kindercare teachers

  • Lost first tooth, received $5 from the tooth fairy

  • 1st day of kindergarden at Cleveland, rode the bus, cried a little when first got to school

  • Won Blue Ribbon at Field Day

  • Joined Brownie troop in 1st grade at Cleveland Elementary

  • 1st grade report card teachers comments: good reader, talks too much

  • Fell off bike and broke front teeth

  • Moved and started attending Cass Elementary

    Primping to fit in and hanging out

    Spent the mornings teasing my bangs and rolling my jeans like all the rest of the girls my age. Weekends spent going to the movies or the mall just to hang out with friends.

  • Started to avoid the boys that would call me "Big Bird"

  • Traded in the glasses for contacts

  • Begin 8th grade at Holmes Middle School

  • 1st (awkward) kiss, very embaressed as it didn't go as anticipated

  • Braces off!

  • Begin high school at Stevenson

    Met Marianne and Kristen (who became my best friends through high school and into college).

  • Dateless for my first homecoming dance :(

  • Completed 1st semester of high school with 3.7 GPA

  • Attended a school dance at Catholic Central with friends, met Andy

  • 1st date, with Andy

    Went to dinner and the movies. Had to be home by 11:00

  • Went to Andy's Junior Prom

  • Driver's Ed complete, learning permit in hand!!

  • Begin Sophmore year at SHS

  • Attended my homecoming dance with Andy

  • Begin to lose touch with my best friend from elementary school who attended a different high school

  • My Sweet 16!! Driver's license!!

  • Got a job at Papa Romano's Pizza

  • Car accident, nearly totalled Mom's car. Thankfully no injuries

  • Begin Junior Year at SHS

  • Take ACT exam

  • Tried marijuana for the 1st time

  • Andy and I broke up

  • Begin Senior Year at SHS

  • Visit MSU for the weekend

  • Began dating Jay

  • Started applying at colleges

  • Spring Break cruise

  • Accepted to MSU!!!

  • Turn 18

  • Senior Prom and trip to Cedar Point with friends

  • Graduate from high school

  • Leave for MSU

  • Trying to adjust to dorm life

  • New roommate, more adjustments

  • Completed 1st yr of college, got a job and an apartment with Jay, stayed in East Lansing

  • Broke up with Jay, spent weekends at home with family and high school friends.

  • Got my own apartment in East Lansing, began dating Keith

  • Moved home, started working for Petsmart, decided to take a year off from college

  • Found out I was pregnant

  • Mom and stepdad got a divorce

  • Keith and I move into a condo with my mom

  • Turn 21

  • Put money down on a house that is supposed to be completed by August

  • Lose touch with most high school friends

    while most of the people we went to high school with were planning their next party, we were planning for our baby

  • Gave birth to a healthy baby boy

  • Move into our house, finally!

  • Keith and I got married

  • Pregnant

  • Keith loses his job, obtains new one within the month

  • Gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl

  • Went to grooming school

  • Marital problems really begin to surface, therapy attempted

  • Divorce final

  • My life began as a single mom

  • Began dating Adam

  • Promoted again and transfered to another location

  • Trip to Hawaii with Adam

  • Lost my job of nearly 10 years

    I felt more helpless and embarrassed than I did when I got a divorce

  • Returned to school to pursue my ADN

  • Began working for DCA

  • Adam and I buy a house and move in together

  • Begin ADN program at Schoolcraft

  • Adam and I get married in Antigua

  • Graduate from nursing school with a 4.0 and the clinical excellence award!!

  • Pass the NCLEX, officially an RN!!

  • Hired in at St. Mary Mercy Livonia

  • Begin taking classes toward my BSN

  • Visit my sister-in-law and her family in Germany

    My first trip to Europe and we visit other counties during our 2 week visit.

  • Anticipated completion of BSN from MSU

  • My son Brenden to graduate from high school

  • Hopefully my son will be graduating college

  • My daughter Jordan to graduate from high school

  • Hopefully my daughter will be graduating from college

    Watching my children develop their lives

    During this time frame I would like to be able to watch my children follow their dreams, succeed in their careers, get married, and have children of their own.

    My husband has been waiting for this day as he retired several years before I did

    Now that I've retired, my husband and I are off in our new RV to sight see across this beautiful country of ours
