Birth
Today, I was born to Robert and Linda Morehead at 10 o'clock in the morning. My big brother, Michael, welcomed me and immediately became my buddy. -
Erin is born!
My first younger sister Erin was born today. My mom went into labor with her after eating too much Thanksgiving turkey! She was born with her cord wrapped around her neck, but thankfully everything was fine! -
Allergies!
Today, my mom discovered that I was allergic to a kind of medicine used to treat sinus infections. I spent my 4th birthday covered in hives from head to toe! -
Hannah Is born!
Today, my youngest sister Hannah was born. This is the only birth I can remember. My brother was NOT happy that he now had 3 sisters!
Hannah came home from the hospital on March 22nd, the day that the comet Hale Bopp could be seen in orbit. -
Broken Arm
Today marked the first day of summer after a long year in third grade. It was hot, especially after taking a hike with my siblings at the park. We decided to make a water slide when we got home to cool off. Michael had gone to turn on the hose, but warned me not to take his spot as first in line. I did and paid for it by getting shoved off of our swing set. I broke my arm and spent the rest of the summer swimming with a bag over my cast (which did not actually help water from getting into it!) -
First day at a new school
Today, I started at a new school. I didn't like it at first, but it is where I eventually met my two best friends that I am still friends with 10 years later! -
911
Today, the World Trade center was bombed. I was in 5th grade at the time and none of my teachers told us what was going on. All I can remember is hearing a girl say she hoped that they didn't bomb our school, and then we had to go to church and pray. -
Grandma passes away
Today was the day my Grandma passed away. My entire family was with her at her home. Christmas was her favorite holiday, so despite how sad it was, being with my family to still celebrate Christmas how she would have wanted made it special. -
First Job
Today, I started my job at Skyline Chili Inc. I started making food and then worked my way up to waitressing. I continued to work here for 3 and a half years. -
First car!
Today, I got my first car! A '95 Toyota Camery. It runs great to this day and I have yet to have to do anything besides change the oil and put gas in it to make it run!! -
Graduation!
Today I graduated with honors from Holy Cross High School. It was sad to leave my friends, but exciting to start a new chapter in my life. -
Met Logan
Today is the day I met my boyfriend Logan. We met at a party and started dating less than a month later. We have been together since then. Logan is a welder and graduated two years after me at Simon Kenton High School. He was one of the top 5 students in Kentucky that was certified to weld. He now has a job at a welding company in Florence, KY. -
Speeding ticket
Today was the day I recieved my first speeding ticket. 162 dollars down the drain. -
Second job
Today was my first day at my new job. I started as a shelver at the Kenton County Library in the Children's Department. -
Taught today!
Today I taught a lesson at Nagel Middle School. It was the second lesson i've taught and I think i did fairly well on it!
