The day I met my bestfriend
On my first day of daycare i met a girl named Eden, and from the first moment we met we were inseparable til now. We've been through everything together from playing hairdresser in daycare to sleepover every single weekend for months and months, to helping her with high school drama. -
My first day of elementary school
My first day of elementary was the beginning of a journey for me in terms of growing and learning and expanding my mind from a toddler to the teen I am now. I also met some life long friends in elementary school and learnt some life long lessons. -
Family Films
Ever since my family and i got our first video camera I wasn't able to put it down. I was always recording everything from my toys, videos for my family to send my grandparents who lived far, me and my sisters making videos about our "cooking shows" or our "american idol performances". -
Meeting my baby sister for the first time
On this day , I walked into the hospital to see my mom and meet my baby sister who was born a day before my birthday. I suddenly knew that everything was different and i was no longer the youngest in my family. ( middle child life :( My face in the picture explains it all.) -
Making the decision to join CyberArts
Instead of going down the same path all my friends went (To fisherville) I decided to join CyberArts at C.H Best Middle School and I discovered my love for art. (The photo is a drawing of Taylor Swift) -
Making my first official short film
We were assigned to write a script for a short stop motion animation film and the best one was chosen to be made. Mine was the script that won. It was about sugar cubes that came to life and attacked a girl who was going to put them in her tea. It was a long process and we took over 3000 pictures, but the end result was amazing. (The photo is of characters we designed and built) -
Winning second place in a film competition
A few students and I from my school were asked to participate in a large competition at John Polyani. There was a variety of different catagories that were given to us, for example two friends of mine were selected for the cooking competition, others were chosen for the soccer competition, and I was chosen for the film competition. My partner and i made a short film on bullying, a topic they gave to us, and we won second place !! -
Shaving my head
I randomly felt the need for change in my life, a new challenge and something empowering. So, I decided to shave my hair off, which was a HUGE change considering my hair was down to my waist and curly. It was a huge shock to everyone but I fell in love with my hair. -
Mental health issues
From a young age I'd always suffered from mental health issues like depression, anxiety and bi polar. Although it had gotten worse and better on and off throughout the years, the last half of middle school all the way through my first year of high school it had reached its peak which took a toll on how I was in my personal life and school life.
