I entered the world the evening of December 11, 1992 in Omaha, Nebraska. My grandma Teri drove my mom from Falls City, NE to Omaha (about 2 hours) that day - mom knew it was time.
-
My pregnant mother and I moved from Falls City, NE to North Platte, NE. It was in this area that I spent the majority of my childhood and made lasting friendships.
-
On this day, I officially became a big brother! Little brother Garret was born in the same Omaha hospital that I was.
-
My mom got married on August 5, 2000, and I had someone to call my dad!
-
My little sister Grace was born in 2005. Having siblings 13 years apart isn't a very common occurrence, and it sure made leaving home for college a whole lot harder.
-
My grandpa, with whom I was very close, passed away from a heart attack shortly after Thanksgiving in 2007. I was lucky enough to have seen him that holiday, just days before he passed. Grandpa Paul acted as a father figure growing up and certainly shaped who I am today.

After many years of hard work and dedication, I received my Eagle Scout Award with some of my closest friends.
-
My mom, dad, brother, sister, grandma, and I took a week-long trip to Disney World in Florida over Thanksgiving my senior year of high school.
-
After graduating McPherson County High School, I moved shortly after to Lincoln, NE where I began the next chapter of my life.

I was fortunate enough to spend seven weeks in Pennsylvania working as a counselor at an overnight camp for boys ages 8-18 diagnosed with ADHD and/or ASD. I was able to visit NYC, Philadelphia, and the beach (Atlantic City, NJ) as it was my first time being on/near the East Coast.
