our main desendence somes from puerto rico so we consider our self fully puerto rican. culturally we celebrate three kings day and cinco de mayo, and along with all the other normal holidays. however, we might just get more festive with lots of food for an army and loud music and get all dressed up. my family is also very religious and spiritual therfore i am Katholic. we celebrate mass and prayer.

My family celebrates many traditions like a fmaily reunion every year somewhere different the same dates. we also celebrate a special day in a childs life that we has hispanics feel the have reached adulthood. A cincinera, in hispanic culture it is a hudge birthday party in which considered a comingout party for the daughters trasitioning froma young girl to a woman. parties now are more fun by adding a theme mines was 1920's era.

My Fmailies background is puerto rican, dominican, and cuban. my grandfather is an immigrant he came to the united states when he was 8 years old his mother and father were seperated. therefore they had to struggle financially depending on the state. growin up my grandfather was very mischevious and got into alot of trouble landing him in jail for over 6 years. when he got out he got his self back on track. at the time he met my grandmother who was born and raised in new york city.
