I began student teaching under my mentor (and master!) teacher, Ann Pike. I learned so much from her and will always be grateful for the opportunities and freedom she allowed me.

Thankfully, WFSD saw some quality in me they liked and hired me one month after graduation. Thank goodness, because that month of sub teaching felt like an eternity

I had two honors classes this first year that were full of students universally acknowledged to be some of the best that Floyd has ever had.

This is the year I will max out on my column movement. Some of the classes I have taken have been extremely useful; the less said about the others, the better.
