    I Am Born
    I was born on March 5th, 1990 at 6:25 in the evening on a Monday. I was the first child. It is said that when I was born, I wouldn't stop crying. Thus, I have always been high-maintenance.

    On December 9th, 1993, I became a big sister. My sister, Ashley, was born, while I was at home with my grandparents. They later brought me to the hospital to see the new addition to the family.

    My Passion Begins
    Before I left Canada, I started taking Irish dancing lessons at the beginning of the year. My friend, Katie, was an Irish dancer, and I had been interested in it for a long time.     Before the beginning of grade four, my family moved from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada to Marietta, Georgia, United States for my dad's job. I started grade 4 in a new country.

    My Best Friend Steps In
    On my first day of school of grade 4, I met another girl who was new to the class. Because we were both new, we became really close friends. We continued to be friends throughout high school, and we are still best friends to this day.

    I was accepted to the International Baccalaureate Program at Campbell High School. This allowed me to go to a different school outside of my district for the program.

    With the stress of high school, the IB Program, and dancing, I decided I needed to quit the IB Program, in order to enjoy my high school experience (and still be a kid!)
  • Nationally Ranked

    Nationally Ranked
    After all of my hard work, I finally became a nationally ranked Irish dancer in North America.I attend the North American National Championships in Ottawa, Ontario. I placed 55th in Canada and the United States. My goal was to one day be like Jean Butler, watch her dance in a clip from Riverdance!
  • Life-Changing Moment

    Life-Changing Moment
    My dad died from a liver complication. In turn, my mom and sister sold our house and moved back to Ontario. I stayed in Marietta to finish up my last year of high school and lived with my family friends.
  • Graduation Day!

    Graduation Day!
    I graduated from Pope High School, where I was ranked top 10 out of 500 students for my grades. My sister, mom, and grandparents came down for the occassion, and we had a big celebration with family and friends.

    Brock Badger
    I began my studies at Brock University in the Concurrent Education Program, and I started rowing on the lightweight women's rowing team.
