    when i began playing ball i was able to coach and interact with younger kids. this made me find a love for the younger kids and want to teach.

  • graduated from Highschool and got a college scholarship (personal/professional)

    I needed my Highschool diploma to get accepted to Carson newman. i declared my major after i graduated from highschool.

  • Got a Bonner freshamn award (professional)

    This award was given to me for the work that I did with BOOST and with journey. they are educational programs that help the under priveledged children reach their educational goals.

  • became the first Bonner in carson newman history to win the BOBO of the week twice in a semester (professional)

    I won this award for the work that I did with BOOST. thi reinforced my love for teaching

  • got an internship in florida (professional)

    Got an internship in florida at Stetson University. the internship allowed me to work closely with the Middle schools that were in the city of Orlando. This experience allowed me to gain experiemce with the group that I wish to teach ( the inner city kids).

  • got on the committee for a national planning conference ( the impact conference) (profesional)

    This allowed me to get to know big name people that worked in the education departments of different colleges ( GA, Indianapolis, etc...) I recieved a lot of good advice.

  • recieved a job opportunity at youth villigaes (professional)

    It is a job where i would be working with students. The job was presented to me because they heard I was doing well art CN.

    I loved playing sports since i was very little. It was a dream of mine to play college ball.
