My family and I moved
In 2001 my family and I moved to Glenside because my dad got a new job. By moving, I met all of my friends I have now. This really impacted my life because I have a comletely different group of friends than I would have if we hadn't moved. -

My family was on TV
My church was the location of a gun violence organization where we put up t-shirts with the names and ages of everyone who died because of gun violence in Philadelphia. The news channels came and interviewed my dad. There were some pictures of me setting it up. Being on TV is always exciting and has been a dream of mine for a while. -
I Got Braces
I got braces in 4th grade. My teeth are now straight and i like to smile more. -

I got my first camera
My sister had bought a Nikon d5000 camera for herself but never used it. My parents decided to buy it off of her and give it to me for Christmas. I still have it and I love taking pictures with it. -

My great Grandma died
My mom's grandmother was in the hospital for a while before she died at the age of 97. She lived in New Jersey for and while then moved to Utah. I have so many memories from visiting her. I was really sad when my mom told me she had died. -

Michael Brown was an innocent black man who was shot and killed by a white police officer. This incident sparked a huge lawsuit. His family sued against Ferguson. Meghan Goes to College
