In the process
I’ve been on the boat now for 3 days and all there is are smelly men and complaining children. But if it means I can go to America I will stand for it. -
Where did mommy go?
In my free time, I like to go out on the ship decks and look at the water. One time when I was looking, a little girl came up behind and said that she had lost her mother. That whole day I went on a search with her to find her mother. -
Steering the boat
As I was walking around the top deck where the captain was, I noticed the captain walking around holding his neck. Quick though came to my head that he was choking. I ran in the captains office and came behind him and started giving him the maneuver. -
New life
So many people were going around talking about why they were moving west. One day a woman came up to me and asked me why I was moving west. I told her, I want a new life, I don’t want to be stuck in Ireland anymore. -
Homestead act
I have been overhearing some of the people talk on the ship and I have been notified of something called the Homestead act! I am so excited to get my own land! -
Tally-ho!
Finally I am here in the United states of America! I have arrived in Boston and I am planning on find a job soon. Maybe going to work in a mill sounds like fun! -
The mills
No. The mills are not fun. I have seen more than 3 girls hair get caught in one of the machines. Hopefully I will be able to find a new job soon because this one is just revolting. -
New Job
I have found a new job! It is that I am a tailor! I have always had a passion of clothes so I am really excited to enroll into this new experience. -
The ending point
I am so happy to announce that this whole experiment has been a blast! I am definitely happy about my decision and I can’t wait to find out what else will come with this dream vacation!
