Last Picture with Father
My father did not pass away, he simply left back to Mexico knowing he could not return. My grandma, his mother, was passing away and he felt as if he needed to return to see her before she passed. After all, he has not seen her for over 20 years since this picture was taken. I wish I had taken more pictures with my father. -
Car Wreck
My first car wreck and my first experience with adulthood. I did not hit the other driver, I simply avoided them causing my wreck. I was thankful that I did not harm anyone, I was young and barely learning to get the hang of driving, hence the wreck. It taught me to be an adult, learn my next steps on what to do, and get a new car all by myself afterward. -
Maria's Birth
This is Maria, no she is not my daughter, this is my half-sister. My mother unexpectedly got pregnant after a 16-year difference between my little brother and my new little sister. She is the reason why I continue with life. I adore her and she has saved my life. -
Breakup Healing
This period of time was excruciating for me. I was going through one of the hardest breakups I have experienced in a long time. I was in love with a man that did not love me but I still kept fighting. During this time, my friends pushed me to go out and heal. I have a great support system. I learned a lot about myself during this time and I will never forget it. -
Falling Back In Love
After months of healing, I found true love. This might sound crazy since I got out of a bad relationship months prior to this. But I have never met a guy who is more loving and understanding. He brings me flowers every chance he gets. -
Graduation - OSU OKC
I actually graduated from Oklahoma State University - Oklahoma City about a year before this, but the pandemic ruined my graduation walk. It was on this date that they decided to do a mini graduation walk. It was nice to get a graduation walk. I am proud of this picture since I am the first in my family to ever attend college and obtain a degree. It is a huge deal for me. -
Moved To Warehouse
After five years of working on the sales floor, I transitioned to the warehouse part of my job on Halloween. This was a huge step, even though I stayed in the same company, I still felt less stress. Not dealing with customers has lifted so many weights off my shoulders. My mental health improved significantly. -
Moving In/Out
This is actually so ironic. I actually moved to this house about 3 months ago and I'm moving out again. I am moving out since I am having family problems. My next step in life is moving in with my partner, I have never done anything like this before, so this experience will be very interesting.
