    The Storming of the Brastille

    Revolutionaries and mutinous troops storm and dismantle the Brastille it was a royal fortress that symbolized the tyranny of the Bourbon monarchs .This was a bad bad dramatic problem and it siganaled the beginning of the French Revolution.
  • The Rise of Napoleon and Creation of an Empire

    Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) this was also known as just Napoleon l , military leader and an emperor who conquered much of Europe it was in the early 19th century.
  • Declaration of Rights

    Declaration of Rights is another way of saying Virginia Declaration of Rights, The Declaration of Rights was drafted and documented in 1776 it was made to inherent rights of men, it also included the right to reform or abolish the government.
  • Tennis Court Oath

    The third Estate realized that in any attempts at Reform they would be out voted by two privileged orders. On June 20th they thought the King was going to disband them, but instead they moved to a nearby indoor tennis court. In that place they took an oath to never separate until a written constitution has been established in France. On June 27th King Louis XIV relented and ordered to join with the Third Estate in the National Assembly.

    It was a crowd of women that were demanding bread for their families including some men. The crowd of women demanded to see the ¨baker¨ in other words the ¨bakers wife¨ and the ¨bakers boy¨. The King agreed to meet with some of the women.

    The Estates General are of 1789. They had their first meeting since 1614, It was a general assembly that was representing the French estates of the realm.
  • Reign of Terror

    The Reign of Terror had a period in the French Revolution from September 5th 1793 to July 27th 1794 it was a civil war spreading from the Vendee and the hostile armies surrounding France on all sides. The Revolutionary government decided to make ¨Terror¨ the order of day.

    There was a Continental System or Continental Blockade of the French coasts by the British government on May 16th 1806, Napoleon issued the Berlin trade.

    The Congress of Vienna was covered in 1815 by four European powers that defeated Napoleon. The first goal was to complete balance of power and the goal was to do it in Europe, This would prevent imperialism within Europe.
