    Peace Treaty

    Richard forced surrender of Palestinian, and the two sides (Muslim and European) decided to exchange prisoner. After awhile of waiting, Richard thought Saladin was not meeting his end of the bargain so he ordered his men to kill all 2700 Muslim prisoners. Because Richard's army wasn't strong enough to attack and Saladin's forces grew weak, they made a peace treaty. Crusaders kept a chain of cities along the coast of Palestine and Muslims allowed Christian pilgrims to vist Jerusalem.

    There were many crusades and popular movements later on, but one special popular movement was the "Children's Crusade" Thousands of peasant children from France and Germany decided to go on a crusade. Some (maybe none) reached as far as European port cities, only to be sold as slaves.
