    The United States took control over York(Toronto) but then was burned then the U.S fought the Battle of Lake Erie

    Great Britain sent 18,000 troops to Canada and then fought us a Lundy’s Lane and lost after Napoleon had been defeated in Europe, allowing the British to advance.

    Early Morning the Americans were at a ship battle not at sea but on a lake, Lake Erie the British Fleet came right at the American Vessels. Oliver Hazard Perry waited till the enemy could be in range which didn’t go well and shredded the USS Lawrence. But, Oliver sent the USS Niagara and sent the ship straight for the British vessels with the junior hands were defenseless after that it took 15 min for the British to surrender

    The British advance from Washington D.C. and move towards Baltimore most importantly towards Fort McHenry which protected Baltimore. The U.S fended the British off at Fort McHenry and at the battle the “Star-Spangled Banner” was written and it forced the British to recede.

    Napoleon was defeated in Europe leaving the British done with the war against France. The British sent 18,000 troops to Canada to fend of the United States. After losing the Battle at Lundy’s Lane the U.S retreaded and allowing the British forces to advance. The British Advances into Washington D.C

    Battle of New Orleans
    Before the Treaty was brought to the U.S the British attacked the U.S at New Orleans to get control over the Mississippi but Andrew Jackson and his group of marksmen successfully fended the British off. After this was over Britain was tired of war and on Christmas Eve 1814 the Treaty of Ghent was signed ending the war
