Birth
I was born on October 16 of the year 2000 in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am my father's first child and my mother's second child. I have two sisters that I love dearly. I love my family very much. -
Very First Day of School
I don't remember much of my first day of school. All I remember was that I cried when I saw my mom leave to work after she had dropped me off at school. As I saw her leave, I cried so much. Now that I think of it, how embarrassing. There was a little girl that gave me her puzzle so that I'd stop crying. I believe I was in preschool, but I'm not sure. I was at Kerr Elementary for a year, until I transferred to Whitman Elementary. -
The first move to Mesa
I remember living in Chandler, Arizona for the first five years of my life. My dad bought our first house in Mesa. We moved when I was almost six years old. It was the best thing that happened to my family. -
My First Pet
My dad gave me my pet Chihuahua, Blacky, for my sixth birthday. She is now nine years old and still healthy and strong. I love her very much and I hope she lives for a very long time. -
New little sister
In September of 2008, I became a big sister. Her name is Emeraude, like my name, they are both unique. My dad got her name from a Mexican beauty pageant show. I love her very much, even though we fight on occasions. -
Moving to New Mexico
In the year 2010, my family and I had to move to Santa Fe, New Mexico. My life had completely changed. It was difficult for me to move away from my loved ones here in Arizona. I ended up loving the cold weather, new friends and my family in Santa Fe. All came to an end quickly, when my parents decided that we belonged in Arizona. Unfortunately, we lived in New Mexico for only half a year. -
My Quinceanera
I shared a very special day with a very special person. My cousin Marlen and I, had a quinceanera to celebrate our fifteenth birthday. It was such an unforgettable day, and I am so grateful that I had the opportuntity to celebrate with my favorite person. -
Disneyland
Disneyland is my favorite place in the world. It's the only place I feel the most happiest at. I go every year for my cousin's birthday during the summer. We've gone for about five years now. I don't know why it felt so different when I went two years ago. It felt special and very exciting. I enjoyed spending time with my favorite people. -
The Death of my Grandma
I lost my grandma almost two years ago. She was seventy four years old when she passed. She had many illnesses and was always in pain. Most of the time, she didn't have any memory of anything due to Alzheimer's. My grandma lived in Chihuahua, Mexico. My father is one of the youngest sibling out of all eleven of her children. My grandma was the type of person that was always laughing and making jokes. I love and miss her very much. I wish I could see her one last time. -
Graduation
I can't wait to graduate from my high school in May. I don't think I can wait five months. I'm too excited, and graduating is all I think about. I just want to graduate with my friends already. I'm nervous about the whole being on my own after high school. It's very nerve-racking that I will have more responsibilities in college. I hope to finish off the year strong. I definitely won't miss high school.
