  • Starting pre school

    Starting pre school
Me going into pre school was the start of my long journey through school. This small start fueled my interest in my dream career. By going to just pre school, it allowed me to start my life in learning.
  • My first bird

    My first bird
When we first got our bird jasper, I think my dad had him since before I was born, but I actually started playing with him when I was about 4 years old. Jasper was the first pet that I had and it was really fun because he flew around, landed on my head and completely destroyed our curtains.
  • meeting my best friend group

    meeting my best friend group
When I was like 3 or 4 years old, I went to Bell park. While I was here, I would meet my closest friends who have had my back since I met them. I never thought that I would make these long term friends when I was just going to a park for fun. These 5 guys have been in my life since pretty much the beginning, I have so many good and bad memories with them. They have probably been one of the major influences in my life.
  • My older cousins teaching me how to play soccer.

My older cousins teaching me how to play soccer.
While I was like 4 or 5 my cousins took me to the park and started to actually teach me how to play soccer. They were both in high school, so I always looked up to them. We played soccer all day everyday during that summer, looking back this helped fuel my love for the sport and to go on and play for almost 7 years.
  • Joining my first team in soccer

Joining my first team in soccer
The first team I joined while I played soccer was like a family for me. I played soccer with these kids for over 7 years. When I met the team it was like meeting family that you haven't seen since you were 2 years old. They were so accepting and kind, I felt like I was completely accepted.
  • Getting my first computer

    Getting my first computer
On Christmas when I was around six years old, my dad wanted me to get used to using a computer. Me getting a computer at this age allowed me to have access to things that I usually wouldn't usually be able to. Getting a computer fueled me to get an interest in technology and how things work. This also lead me to get a book from one of my teachers named how things work because she saw that at this age I already had an interest in technology.
  • Going to the Dells

    Going to the Dells
When I was about 7 my mom wanted to take all of us to the Dells as a family vacation. Of course the trip would start of well by my dad having to take a sharp turn and my mom spilling her coffee on me. But when we got to the Dells, my brother and I had some of the best times we had in years. He is about 12 years older than me so of course he was more mature, but he was still as fun as anyone could be.
  • Jasper my bird dies

    Jasper my bird dies
When I was in 3rd grade we found out that jasper had a tumor in his brain and that there was a slim chance that he would survive the operation if at all. He was in pain for a lot of the days we had him while he had the tumor. I really wasn't attached to him because he was mostly my dads bird. But it was still a big impact on my life.
  • We get a new bird!!

    We get a new bird!!
Shortly after Jasper died we were looking for a new family pet, but neither my mom nor dad wanted a dog or cat, so we settled on finding a new bird. We got a macaw named Oscar. This new bird would live with us to this very day and hopefully a lot longer.
  • Moving to a new house.

    Moving to a new house.
When I moved to a new place, I lost a lot of contact with my uncle and my two cousins who taught me how to play soccer, it was really difficult not seeing them and hard moving from that neighborhood.
  • changing grade schools

    changing grade schools
When I was going into the fourth grade, my family decided to move out of the apartment building that they have been living in for around 7 years. Me moving was a major part in my life, because it opened me up to make new friends, meet new people who would be the major influences in my life and teachers, not school teachers, but life teachers. Making new friends where I moved was hard because I didn't know anyone there or even the neighborhood.
  • Playing volleyball in gradeschool

    Playing volleyball in gradeschool
While I was in grade school in the 5th grade, I joined the volleyball team. I had very little experience in volleyball, but I enjoyed it a lot. my first year we made it to the quarter finals and lost by 3 or less points. Me and my friend were devastated because we made dumb mistakes that should have never happened. The next year we didn't even make it to the quarter finals because we were the 6th graders and that years 5th graders had no idea how to play!
  • My first time going to Poland

My first time going to Poland
It was my first time ever going to Europe and I was terrified, pretty much my first time on a plane as well. Poland and Europe as a whole were beautiful and amazing. I thought that Poland would be very different from America, but it wasn't, everyone was really nice and it was really fun.
  • Going to Sturgis

    Going to Sturgis
The summer of my 7th grade year, my uncle said that we were going to South Dakota for the largest motorcycle rally in the USA. This was going to be the 75th anniversary of Sturgis, so there were going to be a lot of people there.
  • Going to Highschool

    Going to Highschool
My first day of high school was like going into a whole new world. I had a couple of friends going to Taft with me, but it was nothing like people had told me. Everyone told me that high school would be one of the hardest things in my older life. I came to high school a little wobbly and worried. What I didn't know was that these 4 years of my life were going to be the best 4 years of my life so far.
  • DIdnt make the freshmen basketball team

DIdnt make the freshmen basketball team
When I was a freshmen, I wanted to play basketball for Taft. Everyday after school I would spend at least 2 hours playing games and practicing. After I got home and did my homework I would keep practicing on my own rim. But even with me spending most of my waking hours practicing, I still didn't make the cut, never got a real explanation either. This let me down so much because no matter how much blood sweat and tears you put into something it can all just be taken from you.
  • Getting a Ps4

    Getting a Ps4
When I was going into high school, parents got me a Ps4 that we splint money wise. This was big for me because it was one of the first consoles that I had actually paid for. This lead me to have a sense of ownership that felt great. This showed me that paying money for something that you want in life can be really good just because of how it makes you feel, plus I didn't feel that good having them paying full price for it.
  • Seeing my baby cousin for the first time

Seeing my baby cousin for the first time
One of the first times I saw my baby cousin, it was probably a month after she was born, and it was one of the most heart warming things I saw. Family came from all around to see her. People from Poland, form all across the country and us. Seeing her now makes me realize how fast things move, she went from being able to fit in almost both my hands, to walking and pretty much talking.
  • Going to Poland my sophomore to junior year

Going to Poland my sophomore to junior year
When it was summer of my second year of high school, my mom wanted to go back to Poland because we were invited for a family wedding. It has been over 4 years since the last time I went to Poland and I was really excited to go back. I really hate flying now because my legs didn't fit in the seats now so I always tried to get an isle seat. When I got to Poland, most of my cousins and uncles/ aunts were there and they were probably expecting little me from 6th grade.
