LIFE TIMELINE

  • The Day I Was Born

    The Day I Was Born
On November 2, 1997, my loving parents Timothy and Annette Russo welcomed me into the world. In this picture, my dad and my older sister Sarah are holding me and posing for the camera! My dad looks kind of funny in this picture probably because he had food poisoning that day. Regardless, there I was, ready to take on the world!
  • Childhood

    Childhood
I decided to put my childhood as a big block event. I started it at 2000, because I think I can remember most of my life after I turned 3 years old! My childhood was really great growing up and my family was a huge part of it. That is the main reason I choose this photo because it showcases almost all my siblings, my grandparents, and my parents. Growing up with a loving family really made me a lot of who I am today and I'll cherish those moments forever.
  • Writing Poetry

    Writing Poetry
In 2007, I was in fourth grade and I wrote a poetry book. This was the year I discovered that I really enjoyed writing poetry and that I was even good at it! Since then, I write poetry all the time and have been published twice.
  • Dad's Accident

    Dad's Accident
After my dad’s accident in 2008, his back got severely damaged. Over the next few years this was a very difficult time for my family because my dad could barely get out of bed and my mom had to work and provide for our family. During this time, (my middle school years) I started to rebel a lot at school and do things I probably shouldn’t have been doing. (picture of my mom and dad that they took on a cruise a year or two before his accident)
  • Losing Grandpa

    Losing Grandpa
At around twelve years old, I lost my grandpa to pancreatic cancer. For the first time, I had really experienced what death could be like. It was really hard watching him be in pain and having family around me fall apart from trying to handle the emotional stress. This photo is of soldiers folding a flag at his burial because my grandpa was in the marines.
  • Meeting Allison

    Meeting Allison
Just before the second semester of 8th grade, I became really close to Allison. She had just lost her brother a couple of months before we got close and we bonded really easily. Allison is a very important person in my life and she is the definition of a true friend to me! She lives in Maryland now but I have visited her a couple times and she has to come to visit me too. :) This is a picture of us from last March when she came to visit me in Arizona.
  • Fitness Journey

    Fitness Journey
During my freshmen year, I really started to love the idea of fitness. I have always been a skinny girl but I wanted to also have muscle! So, for some time now I have been very committed to staying fit and healthy.
  • Relationship with Bryce

    Relationship with Bryce
Freshmen year, I got out of a bad relationship and I already had my eye on someone new! Bryce came into my life and we clicked right away. We are still dating to this very day and he brings me so much joy!
  • Getting My Two Doggies

    Getting My Two Doggies
At first, I was really skeptical about getting two dogs! This was because I knew I would mainly have to take care of them and I wasn’t sure if I was ready for that responsibility. But after seeing how adorable they were, I could not resist! Bella is the black one in the picture and Nina is the brown one! They are sisters and I love them so much!
  • Sisters Moving Away

    Sisters Moving Away
I grew up with a house always filled with family! But, once my older siblings moved out I lived with my two sisters, Natalia and Sarah for a long time. They both moved out around the same time and it has been a big adjustment being the only child at home. (Picture of my sister Natalia graduating from ASU in 2014 me on far left, then Natalia, Sarah, and my mom)
